The hotel is right beside the railway station the location was excellent and there was NO noise from the trains or the building work. Travel by train from Malaga airport is so simple, cheap and convenient. As the hotel is new taxis could not come right up to the front door (walk about 100M) due to building work at the station, however assume this will change when work is complete. |

Clean, maids polite and friendly, Laundry service, Room overlooking the Railway station was noisy very early in the morning (maybe those rooms should be allocated to people staying one night only), internet not working properly (unsecure connections are not adequate, not be able to receive and sent emails), TV reception extremelly poor, choice of channels really limited..... works around the hotel are very extemsive and it should be mentioned at the time of booking..... I know it is not hotels m istake but the customers are effected... |

The location was perfect. Directly connected to the train station and close to shopping malls (including the one in the station). |

Speedy room service. Very clean. Handy for cheap trains to Airport (15mins), also Madrid and Seville. Underground parking and car hire in same station complex. Inside railway station but quiet. Desk staff very helpful and one spoke English. Hotel is starkly modernist so not homely. Felt like staying in a modern office rather than hotel. Definately aimed at business customers. Lots of electrical room gadgets. In commercial district not tourist area. Room service menu very limited. Only one working internet point in hotel. Poor hairdryer. A 5 euro taxi ride away from the main tourist area. |

Pleasant spacious room. Bathroom had good quality towels and the power shower was especially good. Breakfast was good. Reception and public rooms were soulless, on returning at night one was not tempted to linger for a nightcap at the characterless bar. |

Excellent transport links.Plentiful breakfast.Calm, relaxed atmosphere.Good gym facilities.Adjacent to mall.Quiet, efficient staff. I didn't like the one evening meal I had in hotel.,which was maybe more to do with personnal taste than the quality of the food. |

Modern, contemporary hotel in an excellent location, situated minutes from train and bus stations. Very comfortable facilities with effective air-conditioning ensured good night's sleep. The professional attention from the staff raised the hotel's status to 5 star quality in our opinion! Restaurant service was particularly good, and Raul, our waiter, made our meal memorable, giving us lots of information about Spanish food and wines. However, we were more than surprised that the restaurant was not busier, possibly because it was not advertised.sufficiently or looked rather formal. Food was good and moderately priced. |

excellent breakfast and very comfortable room. It suited us as it is in the railway station and beside the bus station. bar/lounge did not exist as such. Reception area dark and unwelcoming and no bochures/map of city available, except on request |

Cool design of the hotel. Ideal for making breathtaking porno photos with your sweetheart in an unusual interior. Very close to Renfe (in fact, the same building), you can see a departures tablo through the glass of the hall. Helpfull staff. Tasty breakfast. We failed to setup Wi-Fi on two of our devices. A beach which is 5 minutes away from the hotel is dirty, the better one is 30min walk away. Not too close to city center. |

The design of the interior of the hotel, lobby and rooms as well as each floor was well done. Particularly the bathroom with the shower unit was a highlight. Cleaning women were the frindliest members of staff. The breakfast was ok, could have been better. The staff were in general not "over-friendly" or particularly helpful. This didn't help the ambience of the otherwise impressive interior. |

Barcelo malaga is well located in malaga city, it is convenient for using public transport in particular and makes exploring malaga very easy. The hotel decor is far too modern for my personal taste, however it is a brilliant example of modern design and architecture and would appeal to those with an interest in an alternative approach to hotel living. |

Our hotel was fully refurbished in 2005, has impressive panoramic views of Malaga and is situated in the city centre, just 100 metres from the beach. |
Just 300 m from Malaga's historic centre and a pleasant stroll to the beach, this modern hotel serves authentic Andalusian cuisine in its restaurant and has super stylish interiors. |
This hotel is housed in a turn-of-the-century building opposite Málaga’s famous lop-sided Cathedral, on the corner of the pedestrianised Calle Larios. |
The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, a short walk from the cathedral and the Picasso Museum, opposite Malaga’s harbour and just 800 metres from La Malagueta beach. |
