It was close to shops and many bars, cafes & restaurants. Also there was a lot of entertainment, being close to Christmas, and a great atmosphere in the town, particularly in the evenings. There are no on-site facilities other than the room and the staff were not very friendly, but did their jobs OK |

The location was great. It was very close to the Alcazaba, the Roman Theatre, the cathedral, and the Picasso Museum. It was four blocks from Marques de Larios, a pedestrian shopping street. It was 2 blocks from the Paseo del Parque bus stop where the Bus 19 from the airport dropped us off. We would have liked a coffee-tea maker in the room. Not having breakfast on site was OK, s there were plenty of cafe options close by. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice, though. |

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Spoke English and recommended eating places. The bar across the street was very good for breakfast. The situation of the hotel could not have been better. A stone's throw from the Picasso Museum, Alcazaba, Roman Amphitheatre and Gibalfaro Castle, and the 19 bus stop from the Airport to the Paseo del Parque, the nicest avenue in Malaga. |

It was a reasonable standard - and reasonably priced. The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful, spoke English and arranged taxis for us and gave us tips on where to go to eat, etc. I would stay here again. I noticed that I was itching in bed (but my partner did not notice). Perhaps bed bugs? Perhaps not? It could have been all in my mind. In any case, they happily moved me to another room, and everything was fine after that. We even extended our stay for another night. |

Great location and reasonable price Second time staying at Carlos V and again no outside window - looking at the floor plan it looks like maybe only about 30% or the rooms have windows to the outside (the rest open on to an open air shaft). Room is quiet and dark so good for sleeping. |

No frills, but everything was solid and seviceable and in proper working order, perfectly ok for us. Room kept very clean, no noise at night. Location great for local interest and eating/drinking (don't go to Cafe Central), or for travel to other places by bus or train. As long as you weren't expecting frills or chintz, or a restaurant, it is perfectly ok for tourism. |

The hotel was clean, room was a good size with tv, air conditioning, good sized wardrobe. The bathroom was great - fully-tiled, soap provided, hairdryer and towels also provided. It is at an excellent location, right beside the catedral and the alcazaba, about 5 minutes walk from the main shopping streets too. |

I have stayed at this hotel before and found it to be of excellent value. What I liked were the 24-hour desk staffing, an elevator, adequate-sized and clean rooms, comfortable beds, and located on a quiet street, yet centrally located. |

Good location, the taberna next door. Dark, small room. Old towels. Just a regular hotel, nothing special. Wifi connection didn't work due to other networks in the neighbourhood. |

Very good, central location. Nice room and bathroom (no view though, but it didn't matter as we stayed just one night). Very helpful, friendly English speaking staff. No view from the window (view at hortel's narrow courtyard). |

Located in the center of town, very close to the Cathedral Alcazaba, Picasso Museum, etc. Only five minutes from the beach. Very good connections with the airport, bus station and railway station. |
The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, a short walk from the cathedral and the Picasso Museum, opposite Malaga’s harbour and just 800 metres from La Malagueta beach. |
Offering superb views of the bullring directly opposite, the Igh Eliseos combines modern services, including free Wi-Fi , with great central location near the beach and Picasso Museum. |
In the heart of the city, conveniently situated in Málaga’s old quarter, next to Atarazanas market, this brand new hotel features impressive modern comforts in a tastefully restored period building. |
