The views of Malaga from all the major parts of the Hotel & its proximity to Malaga. The food at dinner was both original and interesting and the breakfast was good. However, the rate that we obtained from Booking.com was particularly good - the full rates for the Hotel (even if you are a 'Parador Amigo') would have made it poorer value. No - except the normal Parador rates. |

The views were fantastic over Malaga. The breakfast was wonderful and provided a real taste of Spain as did dinner. Lounge and terraced areas were beautifully decorated, pleasant and relaxing. The location ensures a quiet ambiance away from traffic. Smoking is still permitted in all public areas, not good if you are asthmatic or object to exposure to smell during (recommended) coffee and pastry breaks. Buses are infrequent so be prepared to pay for taxis a few times; you are on top of a hill! |

Very comfortable as one would expect in a Parador. Restuarant expensive. Difficult to find as not well signed in city |

The building itself, beautiful views of the harbour. The room was lovely. The restaurant staff was somewhat abrupt. |

The location of this hotel is superb, overlooking the sea and the city of Malaga. It does however mean that you need to go up and down the hill every time you want to go anywhere, eg. To shops or restaurants etc. There is a steep path which takes you right into the centre of Malaga or the number 35 bus runs half hourly till 7.30pm and picks up/drops off at the hotel gates. Alternatively a taxi will cost you around 5-7 euros to go to the centre. You shouldn't let this put you off staying here as it is a beautiful, peaceful, traditional Spanish hotel. |

I liked the location, the fact that one can walk into the old town of Malaga, and that the view is wonderful. The staff were on the whole not friendly, the service was slow, sometimes no one came at all to serve drinks outside, smoke penetrated into the corridors and rooms from the outside. |

The location was wonderful with a sea view in one direction and a view over Malaga to mountains in the other direction. The food was excellent and overall the hotel was very good value |

The hotel is lovely ,enjoys a fantastic location up on a hill but at the same time you are far from everything. One needs a taxi to go into town every time .We had a meal ther ant thought it was overpriced for what it was. |

This paradaor is spectacularly located near the Castillo Gibralfaro overlooking Malaga and the ocean. The Malaga bull-ring is also visible and you have a perfect view of everything from the hotel restaurant. Rooms were clean and well-maintained. Easy access to the a7 motorway which allows you to hit the main beaches of the Costa del Sol and get to the airport quickly (20min drive). Parking can be a bit tight and the food at the restaurant, while ok, was somewhat bland |

It's views and its peace The bar/cafeteria staff were abysmal. We waited one hour for a drink at one point and we were also told we could not sit at the outside tables until after 8.30pm as it was closed, yet other people were being served. (It wasn't a language problem as I speak Spanish) |

Good location with comfortable rooms - very good sized room and balcony was nice also (if small). Swimming pool a bonus! Small pool and no facilities to purchase drinks near the pool - the bar on the ground floor a long way to go and not really suitable if wearing swimming stuff. |

Dining on the terrace in the evening, watching the lights come on over Malaga city and breakfasting on same terrace looking over the bullring and out to sea. Beautiful. Had to mention a broken tile around the swimming pool. Note was made of this but no apology. |

The hotel is really nice, only 5-10 minutes walk from the city. The views are probably the best in town, you can see the whole city and the sea. Breakfast was also quite varied. The one negative point was absence of wireless, but depends how much you need it. |

Beautiful location with stunning views; walkable distance to city centre but suggest walking down and get a taxi back as it's a steep climb! |

Atmosphere and location but we had to upgrade to a superior room, at a cost of 150 euro as the room we were given was on the ground floor, next to the access serice road, where the balcony could not be used. Were we given the worst room in the hotel because we had booked through you and / or were sniors |
