The cleanliness of the room was excellent. Perfect location for a City trip. Not quite as quiet as it made out but this could be because the beautiful christmas lights had just been put up and it seemed like the whole of Spain came to see them. |

The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. They even tracked me down with a moblile phone to talk to my husand who was calling from Canada. Since I can onloy answer yes or no below: this is about the next part of the survey: I did not read the guest reviews on the website, I booked the hotel from the information about it in the Lonely Planet Guide to Andalusia. |

This is a very small hotel but great value for money - in a good location for shopping and being dropped off by the airport bus, very clean, with friendly Reception staff. It was no problem that there were no breakfast facilities, as there are plenty of bars and cafes around offering breakfast for just a few euros. Unfortunately I was violently attacked and robbed in the Park just 15 minutes from the hotel - in broad daylight. The Receptionist, being the only member of staff in the hotel, helped me telephone the police and advised me how to get to the hospital, but no one was available to accompany me. Luckily, I'm a seasoned solo traveller and can communicate in Spanish. I doubt if many people travelling on their own could have coped with this. Also, whilst this is a good location and easy for the airport bus, it was a long walk and difficult to find the train and bus stations (just off most maps), as there are so many roads dug up ready to install a new metro system, and for this reason the usual trams were not running back and fore. |

Centrally located in the pedestrian area. The receptionist was very helpful in finding space for our bicycles. The room was small and a bit gloomy. |

The hostal is in an excellent position for seeing the sights of Malaga and for shopping. The room, although fairly basic, was clean and of a reasonable size. We were able to leave our luggage on the day of departure and return for it later. I did not like the fact that the cost of the one night stay had already been deducted from my credit card when I checked out. I wanted to pay with another card. |

Good location. Easy access to restaurants/bars and shopping. Budget but clean and comfortable. Only stayed two nights. First quiet, second noisy activity in the street (but also applies to the 4/5 star hotels up the road). Not on a main road so noise may have been unusual. |

I loved the location - it`s right at the heart of the city. The room was quiet and clean, the staff very helpful (including getting me a taxi at 4 in the morning), and the overall standard - great for the price I paid. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who`d like to visit Malaga. At first, I was given a room that smelled of smoke, but I requested a new one, got it and all it was fine. |

Very traditionally Spanish, but all the facilities modern and practical, if a little cramped. Very pleasant staff on duty late at night on arrival, also next morning. |

Centrally located hotel, very close to all the main sights. The beach is a 15 minute walk. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Since it is in a smaller street off a main road, the hotel is quiet. All in all, an excellent budget place to explore Malaga if your primary purpose is not a lazy beach vacation but sightseeing. |
