The hotel has a lovely pool area and is in a fantastic location just a stroll away from the beach and convenient for Marbella old town and its restaurants, shops and bars. They closed the hotel on our last day so we were rushed out of breakfast and the pool area was closed so we had to take all our things to the nearby El Fuerte hotel which was packed full of people and there were very few sun loungers. |

Convinient location: directly on the beach and very close to the city center, excellent breakfast, nice pool area. Access to the beach was under some reconstruction, for the next season should be fine, I hope. |

Rooms very clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities.Staff helpful and friendly. Lift access can be problematic, you must use your key card to access the floors but on occassion the destination was difficult to reach. |

The room was spotless after every clean, staff were very friendly especially the staff serving breakfast, very professional. Location was excellent, pool area was lovely. We tried the spa facilities and I was well impressed and found it extremely relaxing. The lifts were very slow but it did not take from the hotel. |

the hotel was very convenient to restaurants, bars, beach. just walked out the door and you were on the lovely prom. I didnt really care for the pool area, It used to get a little conjested and the pool was a little small, but the beach club made up for this as it was so near the hotel. |

The hotel was ideally located for us in the centre of Marbella. It was a very good standard for a 4 star hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our hotel room, while not massive, was fine for our stay and there was a nice big balcony overlooking the sea. We only ate breakfast in the hotel and the standard of the food was good with plenty of options. I particuarily like the close proximity to the sea. The area around the pool was very tight on space. There was a sign requesting residents not to reserve the sun beds but sun beds were reserved every day and the staff did nothing about this. Personally, there were too many children staying in the hotel for my liking. In my opinion, it was more suited to a family holiday rather than a couple or group of friends holiday as there were too many children and too much noise from them around the pool area. However, the beach was ideally located right behind the hotel and this was a welcome escape from the noise around the pool. I also did not like the fact that we had to pay an additional charge for the use of the safety deposit box in the hotel room. Lifts were also a problem - not enough. |

The hotel was very well situated and was maintained well. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis. The breakfast buffet was inpressive and the food was of a good quality. The staff for the most part were good, helpful and friendly. The pool area is small and congested. The unreasonable reserving of sun loungers is more acute than anywhere else I've ever stayed. The majority of the wait staff in the pool area were slow and had a poor attitude and the food at the pool bar was over priced. There was a strong smell of sewage emanating from the sinks, bath and toilet on almost a daily basis but which I understand is not unusaully in the region. |

The experience was delightful. The rooms were very clean and modern and I have to say the beds were very comfortable. I particularly thought the security in the lifts was good as you had to use your room card to programme them. The breakfast was fab. A wide choice of hot and cold food ranging from freshly made omelettes, pancakes while you wait to fruit, pastries, cheeses mmmmmm.......... The service was also brill. We booked a sea facing room which is exactly what we got.The sun was shining nearly directly over the hotel but we were lucky that our position gave us some rays during the day. Side sea view rooms had sun in the morning but that was it. The pool was okay for children. It is right beside the dining room so there is very little privacy for swimming. Also there are not enough parasols for sunbathing. The hotel is also in a built up area but you do have the sea frontage. The sunbeds on the beach are not free for the months of july and august even for hotel guests(i thought they were supposed to be free) 3 euro per day! And this is the hotels `private beach`.The beach restaurant hhmmm.....The moody waiter was peeved that two of us sat at a table for four instead of a table for two. And than he cheekily served a spanish family, who sat down after us, who also sat at a table that wasn`t even set. We just got up and left him to his spanish comrades. Our money wasn`t good enough. |

Hotel is just beside beach and ten to fifteen minutes walk to old town and restaurants. Location is pretty good. Staffs are friendly and kids love Flamenco show at bar. Such as safety box in a hotel room and sun bed at beach,we should pay extra. Space of pool area is very small. |

The hotel was very spacious and had a very good atmostphere which was created in part by very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Although thre was entertainment in the bar at night time it didn't entice people to stay around so it was very quiet. Maybe it was too early in the season. |
