The warm welcome when we arrived very late. The location on a traffic free street in Marbella Old Town. Good restaurants/cafes/bars within strolling distance. Charming room, good breakfast. Lovely Paloma & her family |

We liked the fact that the hotel was small and tucked away up an attractive alleyway with plantpots on either side and yet it had most of the things we needed including breakfast, a safe in the room, internet access in the main dining room, beach towels in shoulder bags and a little courtyard where we sat at night. It has only seven rooms and there is only access to taxis and occasional delivery vehicles in the road outside. Consequently it was very quiet all the time we were there. The bed was rather uncomfortable for us as it was very hard. The sheet and crocheted cotton cover provided adequate warmth becasue the temperature was in the 70s but the cotton cover was very uncomfortable as it was lumpy and not smooth so we exchanged it for the duvet in the wardrobe which was a bit too warm. A softer thin cover over the sheet would have been better. |

It was exactly as previous reviewers said in a very pretty part of the old town. We had the suite and loved having our breakfast on the roof terrace. Many pleasant streets to stroll through and near to the enormous beach. Good choice of restaurants. |

Excellent in every aspect. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff, lovely cosy room. I liked the tea orderd for room service; pot, cup, some accompanying sweets, etc. were all in a small basket, that was very pretty. As the hotel is on the small street in old town of Marbella, it was a little difficult to find. |

Lovely and romantic. Quiet and pleasant. What more can we say? This is exactly the type of hotel we were hoping for. The room we have stayed in has been decorated with an authentic feel to it. Wonderful owner, always smiling, nothing to much trouble. |

The ambiance that the hotel makes feel. Everything is very simple and cute. The location is perfect since the hotel is in the middle of old town, 10 minutes walk to beach. Parking is a little problem. There is a closed parking place in 3 minutes distance. But anyhow it worthes to stay there. |

The hotel was very convenient to the shops and restaurants of the old town of Marbella and to the beach. Breakfast was delivered to the room as a matter of course and we could eat on the terrace without having to be up ready for the dining room. The staff were helpful with information. We were only there for 2 nights and it was ideal for that. It might be restricting for a longer stay. The spiral staircase to bathroom and terrace might be a problem but we were aware of these from website. |

Lovely family owned boutique hotel in a lovely street in the middle of the old part of Marbella. Easy walking distance to shops, lots of restaurants and the beach. The owners were very freindly and helpful. They had some nice touches such as the loofahs in the bathroom and nice big beach towels they provided in its own carry bag. |

The hotel was small and quaint with only 5 rooms which were simply yet beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful yet uninvasive. The hotel is situated in a pretty street of the old town and is away from the hussle and bussle of Marbella. |

The staff were very friendly and accomodating (e.g. we needed to arrive earlier than their normal check-in time, but they were fine with that when we asked in advance). The room was lovely - a traditional building in the old town, the room was split over 2 floors, with a winding staircase leading up to a bathroom and private balcony. As with a lot of hotels on the continent, it was two twin beds pushed together instead of a double bed. |

Made to feel very welcome. The suite decor and furnishings were gorgeous and the delicious breakfast on the roof terrace was a fantastic start to the day. Free access to the internet was a bonus. |

It was a very charming place. Lovely breakfast basket. Right in the middle of the old town, with everything within easy reach. Fairly priced, if it may seem a bit much for a 2* |

Heel centraal gelegen in het oude stadsgedeelte en toch rustig. Budget vriendelijk maar proper al zijn de faciliteiten dan ook eerder beperkt. |

4-star hotel in a prime beachfront location in Marbella town. Totally refurbished in 2007. The Hotel el Fuerte Marbella commands a superb location in the heart of Marbella. |
Set in the typical Andalusian district opposite Alameda Park and 250 metres from the beach and marina, this hotel allows you to enjoy Marbella´s bright sunshine and many attractions. |
Alanda club is unique in offering an exclusive Mediterranean Country club and high quality self catering rental accommodation complemented by a beautiful clubhouse. |
