Set in a former water mill on the River Águeda, this stylishly renovated hotel is surrounded by woodland 1 km outside of Ciudad-Rodrigo.
The unique setting of the Molino del Agueda allows you to enjoy impressive views over historic Ciudad-Rodrigo and the nearby Sierra de Francia mountains. The building originally dates back to the 18th century, and one of the original millstones has been preserved beneath the modern glass floor in the hotel lounge. It is set in its own peaceful 14 hectare estate of gardens and woodland.
On-site dining choices include a cafe-bar set on top of the river which once drove the mill. In this tranquil venue you can enjoy a refreshing drink after a day enjoying the beautiful local countryside.
