Excellent Gym and Pool facilities, well positioned for sightseeing Couldn't put anything in the fridge as it's pressure sensitive. Air con was poor and bathroom could have been better given that its 5 star. |

Original reservation for Husa Moncloa was transferred to asjacent facility Husa Princesa, adjacent, by the staff there. That was just fine as the Husa Pricesa ia just great. The Husa Moncloa I would not recomment as it has no disearnable facilities other than rooms. Perhaps they have combined the facilities. |

the above relate to the husa moncloa's sister hotel, Husa Princess, as we were upgraded on arrival and did not see the rooms in the Husa Moncloa. Rooms were very clean if a little dated. Like their "green" tips! Would not regard the Husa Princess as a 5 star hotel. Cost of breakfast very expensive |

We had booked for this hotel but they change our booking to theri 5 star hotel beside it. The hotel was well situtated, not at city center but about 15 min from it. Our room was at 9th floor with a very nice view. The hotel is somehow old. i.e the bathroom was the typical old luxury you would found some years ago. |

Excellent location for seeing prime spots of Madrid, metro nearby, good shopping locale. Our beds were extremely uncomfortable. Really feeling we were clear on communication with staff in English. |

We were changed to the Husa Princesa, which is the same building but a 5star hotel. Staff was incredible. The service room and facilites at the hotel were also great, just one thing, the minibar at the room must change the method of billing, because when you move something just to see what it is you are automatically charged. |

Location! Adjacent to large department store which included a full food market, Starbuck's next door, metro stop a block away and connected to sister hotel Princesa which provided a much more expansive combined facility with amenities. Room was relatively spacious and had an entry hallway which buffered noise from guests and housekeeping and added to bathroom privacy. Comfortable beds. No free WiFi. Room was too warm even with heat set all the way down. Opened window but then heard more street noise. All food very expensive. |

Room was clean and very confortable with a separate area with a desk Services were way to expensive. Breakfast buffet was available for about 19 euros, internet was nearly 15 euros a day or 9 euros per hour and similar situation with items in the minibar (small bottle of water was about 3-4 euros while you can get a 1.5 liter bottle at the nearby "El Corte Ingles" for 0.28 euros (28 cents!). In addition, the convertion rate dollar-euro the hotel offered was way off |

It had a great fitness, was close to the centre. There was no internet in the room; even when we paid for wireless internet connection (which was rather expensive), we had to go to lobby to be able to use it. |
