The main attraction of the old town is the beautiful Balcon De l' Europe, a palm tree lined square that juts out to sea and is flanked by pavement cafes and has a definite cosmopolitan feel favoured by street artistes and musicians alike. At the far end of the Balcon a circular vantage points enables fantastic views of the sea down below and along the coastline
A visit to Nerja is not complete without a visit to the world famous Caves of Nerja , a large important archaeological site which holds famous music festivals in the summer.
The hotel is situated just steps away from Calle Perez and Calle Chapril, where you will find all kinds of shops, restaurants, tapas bars and the famous Tutti Frutti Plaza with its pubs and clubs.

great value, wonderful staff (assuming you can speak spanish or french), she even gave us a kettle for our room during our stay! very cute decor too, and the rooftop terrace is very nice. a bit noisy so we had to keep the balcony door closed at night |

the location is ideal for shoping and eating places. the location at the front over looked a bussy street which was often noisey into the early hours. |

Everytime I go to Nerja, I stay here. It is really fabulous. The owners are helpful, and kind. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. You are only a 5 minute walk from the Balcony. I will always stay here, even if I can afford better! There is AC, a little refridgerator, it's perfect. |

Breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely, very centrally located, staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Clean, although the room was very small but being in the middle meant it was very quiet. Had everything we needed. |

From the moment we arrived we knew we booked a great hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - the owners went above and beyond to help us with our lost credit card, bus schedules, directions... The room was bright and spacious with a great view of the sea. We had a balcony that we used a lot and there is a beautiful rooftop terrace. I can't say enough about this hotel. It is on a quiet street just 5 minutes from the beach and there are great restaurants, cafes and shops right outside your door. I know that if I am ever in Nerja again, I will be booking here. Just a heads up that there is no elevator, but that's a very small price to pay for a room here. |

The friendliness of the host and hostess made this stay most enjoyable. The rooms had air-conditioning which was very good for the price we paid and was right in the centre of Nerja. I would describe it more as a bed and breakfast in English terms. |

The staff was very friendly. The location was perfect. It is a short walk to Balcon de Europa and beaches. I would definitley stay there again. Not a huge deal, but there are no elevators. |

The service was wonderful and the Hostel was a pleasent surprise on the inside compared to the outside. It had modern features and was very comfortable. A real plus was the air conditioning in the room which was definitely needed in August! Even though the Hostel was not right on the Balcon, there was still a slight noise problem during the night which continued into the early hours. We had a room which overlooked the road and this road was a route in and out of the Balcon. |

The helpfulness of our hosts Clara and Roberta. Always a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The Hostal was immaculately clean with good air conditioning, and the room had a balcony where you could enjoy a drink and a snack in peace. Breakfast on the roof was a lovely way to start the day. Very good value. If we ever return to Nerja we would stay at Don Peque again. |

The hostal has a comfortable location. It is close to the restaurants and beaches. The owners are very nice people, friendly and helpful. The floor in the room was dirty. |

We especially liked the central location. The rooms were neat and tidy and we apriciated every cleaning. The staff was outstanding in every way. For every enquiry they had excellent answers, recommendations and suggestions! Great value for money. Well, the beds are only 1.80 m in lenght, which means that a 1.95 m guy has to sleep "creatively". The problem is by no means of great importance. It is still possible to sleep quite well. |
