Very nice hotel, great location and the gardens would be perfect for older couples relaxing. Only main issue was the noise coming from the other rooms , not saying they were noising but guests just walking up and down the room upstairs caused the light on my bedside table to shake, very very thin walls |

great location in Nerja, very helpful and kind staff! beakfast buffet is also satisfactory. beach which is directly connected with Parador with the lift is very impressive, too. |

A very relaxed and comfortable hotel with friendly staff and an excellent location with very clean and furbished rooms. I would have like a broader and more simple evening menu . I do enjoy a gourmet meal but felt that it was a bit restrictive as far as taste was concerned. |

The location of the hotel, excellent views of sea, walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops, easy driving distance to Malaga and local towns and villages. Excellent breakfast and service from staff. |

Beautiful, quiet location, but close to beach and not too far from village center. Spacious garden with ample room for sunbathing. Quality of food in restaurant. Restaurant slightly large and impersonal for evening dinner. |

The Parador de Nerja was a great place to unwind after a hectic touring schedule. The grounds are beautiful with a large swimming pool, expansive lawn with chaise chairs, and a terrace overlooking the ocean. An elevator takes you down to the beach. The parador was built in the '70s; the vintage look is quite nice because the building and grounds are very well maintained. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a huge variety of food. One staff person was a little gruff in response to a question, though the rest of the staff was very accommodating. You are not allowed to take towels down to the beach, which is a problem for international travelers who can't bring beach towels with them. |

The facilities were fine. Clean with great views. Used the restaurant a few times and the service & food was really good. Staff very nice there. The staff in the hotel front desk was not friendly...not sure it was because we were woman. Seemed to be annoyed anytime I asked a question & did not offer any suggestions. When I left...not a thank you, did you enjoy your visit nothing. Just took my payment & gave me a receipt. |

Our stay was just out of season and the hotel was fairly quiet. We had a relaxing and peaceful time which is what we wanted. I thought the room was a double when I booked it but it was a twin. |

Wonderful setting - excellent rooms with marvellous views. Beautiful gardens, quiet, Excellent facilities and service. Very relaxing, lots of little details (turning the beds back in the evening while you're having dinner & leaving chocolates) made it very special. |

I loved the beautiful setting with views from the cliff of the mountains and the sea. Also the friendly and helpful staff and the spacious rooms and bathrooms. Very tranquil and a splendid pool. Superb breakfast. Not really. Maybe it would be nice to have a couple more computers and a more extensive shop. Also a little more variety in the snack menu. |

It was very close to the beach. My wife is vegetarian, and I chose the Parador partly because it offers vegetarian meals. Those meals, however, do not include much protein and are not very balanced. They basically are salads or pasta. Also, they allow guests to hold lounge chairs near the pool all day, even if they are not being used, effectively blocking other guests from using them. And for such an expensive hotel, they do not offer any shuttle service to the bus station. I do not believe it was worth the amount we paid per night. |
