very clean, staff very helpful beautiful location, You have to park in a public car park which is a good walk from the hotel but its free. Not the easiest place to find but we had a car. To be honest if you don't like cereals or bread the breakfast is not great. |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Lost key for a suitcase and they arranged locksmith to come to hotel and fix for us. Rooms very clean, fresh and comfy beds. Small pool with terrace area with plenty loungers/tables chairs - often have to yourself! Continental breakfast, but was very nice with everything fresh. In all - excellent for a 2* hotel |

Everything, staff were lovely and genuine. Hotel while in the centre of Nerja was so quiet at night, best nights sleep we ever had in a town centre. We attended a wedding in Nerja and the hotel was so close it was easy to go back and freshen up. also the pool area and sun loungers were in a private area that overlooked the town |

Although you're not on the beach, the location of the hotel is absolutely spot on. It's a 10 minute walk from the bus station or a couple of minutes in a taxi if you have luggage. You're right in the centre of Nerja but positioned down a quiet side street and so the hotel is very quiet. The sun terrace on the top floor is excellent, it has a small salt water pool, so no chlorine.I tried to book into the Balcon De Europa as I'd stayed there a few years ago but this was fully booked at the time, so I stayed in Hotel Puerta del Mar and would have no hesitation in staying here again or recommending it to anyone. |

Room was very clean and ~200 meters from the beach. We booked a room with non-smoking preference. We got a smoking room (stinky), without any chance to change and without any information in advance. |

I ejoyed the large room for my family, good breakfast, nice pool and terralarge terraces. All the beaches, restaurants and attractions were nearby. Excellent location and parking nearby for free. I woud recommend to all families couple of people looking for a short or long stay. No everything was lovely. |

Helpfulness of the staff. For example we were allowed put 1 extra bed into the room for 1 night for no extra fee. We were also moved rooms as we were booked into a double instead of twin beds, there was absolutely no fuss made whatsoever. Breakfast was easy going, served until 10:30am |

The staff was very helpful and spoke English. Tastefully and recently decorated. You can park for free if you are willing to walk a few blocks. Park the car and leave it. It is of no use in the city. The staff can tell you all you need to know. Honestly, my wife and I could find no fault. Some people might not like the hustle and bustle of the main city square. |
