Reception staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful They all spoke excellent English.We paid extra for a larger double room, which waswell worth the extra cost. It was spacious,well appointed, very comfortable with efficient air-conditioning. The bathroom was large, very well equipped and a joy to use! We did not take breakfast which was inordinately expensive ( although apparently good).The hotel was quiet at night, but nonetheless well situated in a good area from which access to Gran Via, Sol, Retiro, museums etc. was very easy. However,we had expressly booked this hotel because of its advertised swimming-pool. Uponarrival, we found that the pool was closed. It did not open until the afternoon of !st July, half-way through our stay. This substantially detracted from our holiday enjoyment, and in our view amounted to something of a "con.". The entry on your web-site portfolio of hotels gives no warning that this might occur. In any event, the room cost obviously includes an element in respect of advertised hotel facilities, including the pool.The public are being deceived. There should be clear warning both by you and the hotel itself that the pool may not be open before 1st July and after 1st September.I would not have booked this hotel at the advertised cost if I had known that I would not have use of the pool for several days of my stay.

The hotel was very close to city centre and in a nice area itself. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The buffet breakfast was good! The mini bar was free the weekend we were there, though we didn't find out about this until checkout!

The pool wasn't open - it was the first weekend of June and temperatures in the 40's but the pool only opens July and August - why?!! Also that we didn't know about free mini bar until checking out..:)

No hay bar en la piscina

Aria condizionata ben funzionante. Stanze silenziose. Stanza da bagno con vasca. Servizio spuntino in camera a prezzo equo. Posizione ottima per shopping e escursioni a musei e centro città.

Che sul sito fosse indicata la piscina, ma che in realtà fosse chiusa fino al 1° luglio malgrado +38 gradi di temperatura in città.

De kamers waren ruim en altijd proper.Het ontbijt was heel lekker en veel keuze.Een mooie gymzaal.

we hadden op voorhand gemaild of zwembad open was en hadden een antwoord gekregen vanaf 15 juni.Toen we daar aankwamen was het zwembad toe om te verven en dat vonden we heel teleurstellend omdat we daarom gereserveerd hadden!Terras was niet proper spijtig want was een groot terras waar veel mogelijkheid inzit indien goed verzorgd.

L hotel soit disant 4 etoile ressemble a un hotel 2 etoiles..en effet le site montre des photos qui ne ressemble en rien a la realite..de plus la piscine etait completement fermee ce qui est intolerable...car en aucun le site a mentione ce critere..et il n ya pratiquement pas de service ,plusieurs fois au restaurant il faut attendre 30mn-40mn avant de pouvoir faire sa commande!!!

lo mejor de ese hotel es la buena situacion en plaza colon,el personal muy agradable y el precio relativamente bueno

la piscina no funciona y con una temperatura de 40°,la sala de desayuno muy peqena para la cantidad de gente y se vuelve muy ruidosa
