The hotel is an old hunting lodge in a beautiful location up in the mountains above Marbella - wonderful for walking or just relaxing. Lovely and peaceful (except occasionally on Sundays when it can get busy with walkers). Good bar and restaurant. |

We have booked this hotel just to be a little bit closer to Marbella and its beaches. And we were very surpised to find out where is this hotel situated. It was about 1000 meters high on the mountain with the charming nature around. Stuff was very nice. Wifi was able. Breakfast was poor. |

Friendly staff, excellent dinner in the restuarant, lovely walks in surrounding area. Slightly musty bedrooms, very little sunlight. Shame the pool was closed & tennis court needed maintaining. |

The hotel is in a beautiful location in the hills. Very quiet and nice to get away from the noise of the coastal area. But it is still close enough to restaurants and the sea if you want it. The staff were very welcoming and the whole atmosphere was very relaxed. |

The pool was great and the surroundings lovely and peaceful - but still an easy distance to Marbella and the coast. The room walls were thin and every time a door opened in the corridor or someone walked past it was very audible - probably partly due to the tiled flooring that echoes sound. |

They have very nice suite which is much better than some of their rooms. Comfortable lay-out. The food was superb!! Any game eater would be extrememly happy with the menu. Also - exyensive wine list. In the eveing, a fox came to visit the balcony - definitely not expected!! |

We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals were delicious but quite expensive. |

The mountain setting was fantastic. The trails adjacent to the hotel were excellent. The ceramic articles placed around the hotel were very nice. The restaurant staff are very hard-working and friendly. The decor is a bit dated. They really need to give the place a design overhaul. There are faded carpets throughout the corridors that should be replaced. Although it is very clean, new paint in contemporary shades, some nice linens, and updated TVs would really make the rooms look a better. |

la lejanía del cualquier otra edificación o población, su estado de tranquilidad, los alrededores llenos de naturaleza y aventura Desde las habitaciones se escucha mucho ruido procedente de cualquier parte del hotel, algunas de las personas que se han alojado en el hotel no tienen el más mínimo cuidado en respetar la tranquilidad de un hotel rural, se arrastraban muebles sin miramientos, se oían a la s personas por los pasillos hablando en un tono muy alto, etc. etc.,lo que quiero decir con esto es que la insonorización de las habitaciones es nula, al menos en la que yo estuve hospedado, y que se debería advertir a los huespedes que es un hotel para descansar y que deben de tener el máximo cuidado en no molestar a los demás con los ruidos a cualquier hora del día o de la noche. |

El entorno natural que le rodea, ya que está dentro del parque natural Sierra de las Nieves. Del hotel, destaco el desayuno Está muy viejo, más que antiguo. Le hace falta un remozado completo. puy poca iluminación en las habitaciones, los cuartos de baño necesitan una transformación completa. Solo está bien cuidado el restaurante y la piscina. La pista de tenis, ni acercarse. |

Pequeno almoço Quartos muito pequenos - com muito barulho e mau cheiro (quarto onde ficamos ficava virado para a chaminé da cozinha) - e a inexistência do ar condicionado. Uma vez que não se podia abrir a janela por causa do cheiro a comida o ar condicionado faz falta. |

Despues de mucho buscar solo puedo hablar positivamente, aunque sin gran entusiasmo, del desayuno. Necesita una profunda reforma general, esta muy anticuado. Solamente el entorno no justifica que luego las instalaciones sean deficientes y produzcan incomodidad. |
