The staff were very friendly and helpful. They spoke in slow Spanish so we understood everything ( we are English but live in Spain and do not expect anyone to speak to us in English!) The situation was perfect. Despite being in a room onto the road (pedestrians and delivery vehicles only) with road works on the Puerta del Sol a few metres away, it was very quiet even for a poor sleeper! The television reception was poor. From the list of channels only 4 or 5 were good enough to watch. However only being there for a few days it wasn't so important but may be for a longer stay in cooler weather. |

location was perfect. staff lovely. free use of bikes (great idea). free internet. bit noisy. Even though the room looked lovely, everything seemed to be falling apart. Shower door falling off. Sink in bathroom. One of the two beds wobbly. We did mention to the staff but nothing was done. Also, something very small but annoying, we had a note in our room to say we would get a free bottle of Cava for booking through bookings. |

It was central for touring. I was overcharged for phone calls - 81 euros for 5 short local calls. |

Its location. Must of ot staff was very helpful. It is advertised as a hotel with air conditioned, but one does not have control on it. During my stay in Madrid the days where warm but at night the temperature felt some degrees. However, the rooms conserve the hit of the sun and at nights there were hot. The only option I had was to turn on the hitter. The nights were not comfortable. |

Central Location, near the subway. The street noise (near plaza del sol) the shows, loud drunk people, you hear the noise from other rooms. There is no AC or ventilation, the internet is not reliable and the staff are not very helpful with customer requests. |

We were very central. Well.......1st there was 2 dirty mens socks laying on the floor of one of the rooms, 2nd-when I went to complain about this, the lady at reception was rude and very unhelpful. 3rd-room 2 was a disabled room with a sink about 1meter high, and when a guest is 5 foot 10, it is pretty impossible to use and even I, at 5 foot 2 found it very difficult to use!! 4th-the cleaning lady was very very noisy. |

good location everything was ok but many things were missing - a chair in the room, we asked for an extra blanket and never received it, no pictures on the wall, all the little things which make you feel comfy. we paid an Outrageous amount of 150 euro per night, and this hotel does not worth more than 90 euro maximum as it is indeed very simple. |

Location The outside/street noise was unbearable and went on all night. It was impossible to sleep. There seemed to be a problem with the hotel plumbing as there was a constant smell or should I say stink. |

The room and shower were really lovely and the location is fantastic, right in the middle of everything and the metro is a only a few steps away. Bathroom door was a bit wierd, frosted and a big window you could see in through!! |

Tv with news, music in room; local and English papers in foyer; a very good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast. But above all else the excellent central position of the hotel, just a few metres from the Puerta del Sol Metro. |

exellelent staff in the lobby and exellent location in the heart of the city yes the room was not completley renovated the styling was not complete I was in Petite palace in Barcelona and the room was much nicer not enough value for money this time, the pictures on your site were much nicer than the reality. Next time i come to Spain I will have to think about choosing petit palace and thats a shame because all the rest is exellent |
