Splash around in the indoor heated swimming pool or in the sunshine in the outdoor swimming pool. You can also spend your day amongst the nearby shops, bars and restaurants. This well-equipped hotel includes a restaurant, a kids club, and offers an extensive programme of daytime and evening entertainment for children and adults, with something for all ages.
The hotel has its own outdoor swimming pool with water slides and an adults-only whirlpool, surrounded by a sunbathing area with natural palms trees. There is also a heated indoor swimming pool, open from 16 September to 15 June.
If you are looking for further relaxation you can enjoy a session in the water-jet spa circuit or specific treatments in the Spa & Wellness Acquaplaya located in the Playasol Spa Hotel, and reservations can be arranged at the reception desk of the Playalinda. Please note that children are not allowed in the Acquaplaya Spa, except during special family hours (10:00 to 11:30). Staff at reception can provide further information regarding the spa and any special conditions.
The hotel’s Club Delfin is a daily activity and entertainment programme for children aged between 4 and 12 years, and there is also a separate Teen Club for children aged 12-18. These clubs operate at weekends and throughout the summer, from 1 June to 30 September.
The hotel’s own on-site buffet restaurant, Patio, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel guests can choose Breakfast Only, Half Board, Full Board and All-Inclusive packages at an additional cost, payable on arrival, directly to the hotel.
The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast every day, with a wide selection of fresh produce and featuring show cooking. The lunch and dinner buffets consist of a variety of hot and cold dishes, including salads, appetisers, vegetables, meat and fish dishes.
The restaurant has a baby corner with complimentary facilities available for parents’ use. The baby corner has a microwave and a refrigerator for baby food.
The hotel also caters for Coeliacs, with a wide range of gluten and wheat-free products in association with COELIAC and FACE (the Spanish Federation of Associated Coeliacs). If you have special dietary needs and requirements, please contact the hotel prior to your arrival.
The opening hours of the restaurant do vary according to the season. Staff at reception can inform you of the current times that meals are available. Gentlemen must wear long trousers in the restaurant.
The hotel also boasts the Queen saloon bar and a snack bar in the swimming pool area, which is only open during peak season.
The All-Inclusive option includes full board with soft drinks, beer and wine included. From 08:00 to 00:00, most of the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on the menus of the various bars are included (subject to the individual closing times of each bar). In high season, between 11:00 and 14:00, free tapas is on offer either in the main bar or in the pool bar.
The All-Inclusive package does not include some types of drinks and some vintage wines on offer in the hotel. All the rooms have a balcony or terrace, the majority of which have a sea view. One child up to 14 years old can stay for free when sharing a room with one adult in a single and 2 adults in a double.
Situated on the Costa de Almería, Roquetas de Mar features many good beaches with superb water sports facilities. There are also tennis, horse riding and golf facilities, the Playaserena golf course is just 400 metres away and there are another 2 excellent courses within a 10 km radius. Roquetas de Mar organises a multitude of cultural activities throughout the year, including plays and concerts which take place in the theatre and auditorium. The resort itself also features a lighthouse that is currently in service as an exhibition hall, but which houses painting or photography exhibitions every 2 weeks.
To the south-east of Almeria, 56 km from Roquetas, Cabo de Gata is a naturally beautiful paradise with much to offer scuba divers. Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park has been officially recognised by UNESCO as one of the most beautiful and wild spaces of Andalusia.
Tabernas is the only semi-dry desert in Europe and some of the world’s most famous westerns have been filmed there. Parts of the desert have now been developed and converted into Oasys, one of the most inventive theme parks in the Mediterranean.
Children's discounts depend on proof of age, which is required on arrival. Some form of photographic identification is necessary, such as a passport.
