The response to our request for a high floor with a view was perfect. The hotel had lots of old world charm. The location was great. the 10 euro buffet was worth it and convenient. The air conditioner did not seem to be working so we had to open the sound-proof window and had trouble sleeping due to heat and street noise. The carpet and walls were badly stained, but everything seemed to be clean. We suspect we were given twin beds instead of a double because we were two men - we would have preferred a double. |

It was very close to everything we wanted to see and do. No it was great for us. The single beds in the room were a bit annoying though for couples. |

we had a fantastic view of the palace beautiful room with bath and very comfortable beds the tv is digital so we could change the language to english the aircondition didnt work properly so we had the windows open which made it very noicy even though we where on the 6th floor |

i enjoyed very much the aid and kindness from the staff members at the reception.They were very helpfull in all aspects. The only things that bothered us iwere the fact that there were no English stations on Tv and that the poor continantal breakfasts were too expensive!! |

Situated just in the city senter, close to metro station, old stile atmosfier in rooms and saloons. To organise minibars in the rooms. |

Good situation close to Pl. España (metro). Helpful staff. Nice buffet breakfast. Nice view from my 7th floor façade room. Free internet connection (wi-fi). Weak unstable wi-fi connection (at 7th floor: did not try from the lobby). Noise from the boulevard during the night: ear plugs are recommended. A room on the back side might be better. |

Good location, comfortable room with a nice view, spacious and very clean bathroom, friendly staff (except the lady at check-out). At check-out they wanted to charge 70 Euros more for meals I did not have. After clarification they said it had been due to a system failure and the receptionist did not even apologize for the mistake. |

Convenient location (5 min walk from Plaza Espana), clean and comfortable room (double for single use), superb bathroom with soft towels, magnificent view of the Royal Palace from the window, helpful and smiling staff. Breakfast buffet could have been richer, and the breakfast hall looks a bit worn out. CNN is the only english TV channel. |

Good locaton and great value for money. We requested a quiet room and that is exactly what we were given - we travelled through Spain for 3 weeks and this was our quietest stay. The lifts were a bit on the small side. |

Very peacefull and well located, near to Plaza de España and Gran Via, the facilities are not great but reasonable. The hotel is a little old but it is clean and the price was good. |

Yes, they did not have my booking reservation through booking.com on-line, and I had to pay 10 Euros more than my reservation quote. (70 vs. 60 Euros) |

Hôtel très bien situé par rapport au centre ville et bien déservi par les transports en commun (metro et bus). Rapport qualité/prix correcte et bon accueil. La décoration est vieillote et poussièreuse. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité moyenne. |
