Hotel Puerta de Toledo

Good day!! I've spent only 2 nights in your hotel but describing it I can use only the best words. The stuff was polite and helpful, the comfort and cleanliness of my room was on great level. It is close to the city center, but not in noisy part of the city. As I speak spanish I didn't have any problem in communication, but I think it would be the same even if I spoke in english. It is really good example of one international hotel for all type of guests. That is how should look like good hotel anywhere in the world! Thank you for everything!! If I come again to Madrid I'll choose Puerta de Toledo again!!!!

It was very clean and well appointed. The air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was included in the price and was good. Central. Reception open 24 hr.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very centric.

I hated the breakfast. It seemed that there were a lot of things to eat but most of the food was old. The croissants were very hard, the ham and the cheese smelled terrible. Even cheaper hotels have a better breakfast.

Quiet residential area; Metro within easy reach.

The staff were very helpful - couldn´t do enough fo ryou. It´s very conveniently located - so easy to walk to all the main attractions

The Wi Fi only works about 5 minutes a day.It was ok but the walls were thin and you could hear the neighbors all night.

They put some additional items (like telephone and TV) on the bill even I have not use them. After my complaints their chnage the bill.

I liked the fact that breakfast was included in the package. We found it convenient to have the WiFi at our disposal free of cost. The receptionist provided information in English upon request. Room was kept clean, tidy and fresh and we enjoyed the view from the fourth floor. It was close to the bus stop and metro station.

It was about 20 minutes uphill walk to the town centre and to most of the reasonably priced restaurant facilities. No small wash rags were provided in the bathroom.

Decent and cheap and close to the city center.

It claims to be quiet, but the walls are thin and neighbors can be heard much too easily.
