Marina Suites

Sehr schöne und grosse Zimmer und Suiten mit einer kleinen Küche und einem schönen Balkon. Ein netter Pool - direkt an den Klippen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes waren fast ausschliesslich Reisende aus UK, Irland und Skandinavien dort - wenig Deutsche. Insgesamt ein ruhiges Publikum. Animation war vorhanden, hielt sich aber in Grenzen (d.h. man wurde zu nichts gezwungen). Man kann sich sehr gut selbstversorgen, da es eine voll ausgestattetet Küche gibt. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und kühl eingerichtet, aber sehr schön. Das gesamte Ambiente des Hotels ist schön und grosszügig.

Leider kein direkter Strandzugang vom Hotel aus - man musste erst 5 Minuten laufen, um an den Strand von Puerto Rico zu kommen. Das war aber kein Problem. Das Essen war gut aber durchschnittlich. Wir haben uns immer extra Cafe und frischen Orangensaft bestellt, da das Angebot im Frühstück aus Automaten Kaffee und nicht frischem Saft bestand. (Unserer Erfahrung nach war das in allen 4* Hotels sol) Ansonsten aber alles ok. Die Leute an der Rezeption waren teilweise unfreundlich - die Leute im Service waren nett. Leider wurde das Abendessen nicht draussen serviert - aber Frühstück und MIttagessen konnte man draussen essen.

Die Lage des Hotels, die Aussicht und die Größe und Einrichtung der Suite waren toll. Der Pool war angenehm beheizt und die Poolanlage sehr gepflegt.

Die Matraze der Schlafcouch war ziemlich durchgelegen, die Matrazen im Schlafraum waren ok.

Die Suiten sind sehr gross, modern eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage, Aussicht einiger Zimmer sensationell. Frühstücksbuffet sehr vielfältig, Lage des Frühstückraumes sensationell.

Zimmer Richtung Yachthafen haben den ganzen Tag keine Sonne, deswegen nachts, morgens und abends ein bisschen kühl im Zimmer.

The deluxe suite we stayed in, was very spatious. Staff is friendly. Decent breakfast.

Across the street, there is a launch ramp for yachts. This can be disturbingly noisy, especially in the morning. Also, there is a ventilation or airconditioning installation right under the balcony doors of the deluxe suites. Don't think about spending a nice quiet evening on your balcony: there's a constant loud buzz.

Service, cleanliness, pool, room size ( we had the larger size), close to resort amenities and easy to access (no steep access), good wheelchair access.

If anything i thought 8 euros for breakfast was expensive for the quality provided it was not bad but i would say average.

We arrived at the Marina Suites at 11.20 in the morning and our suite was ready,brillant,especially after a long flight.This is the best accomodation we ever stayed in.Luxurious apartment,great location,fab pool,great food,very clean.Cant wait to go back.

The room was big and had a good standard. Beautiful view form the room, friendly staff. The outdoor facilities were good. We loved this hotell:)

Spotless, spacious suites. Beautiful infinity pool and also hot tubs. Good snack bar by the pool. Restaurant had reasonable selection of food most nights. Drinks were not overly expensive.

Some front desk staff not welcoming. Pool area got quite crowded due to limited space

hotel spotless,staff great,view across the harbour lovely,pool warm and outside gardens kept immaculate,in a lovely position,beds, comfortable,great power showers, compared to other resorts this was deffinately the best,would go again.

the food! this let the hotel down,breakfast was ok, not a lot of choice compared to other 4* hotels,evening meal -nothing exciting and main course hot dishes neaded to be served hot not luke warm, but for room only deal, the sellect suite choice, helpfull staff and a good pool /rooms with a view this hotel would suit any familly with children,but wouldnt bother with 1/2 board.

The pool facilities and the large well laid out rooms. It also has an excellent location to access the attractions in Puerto Rico.

The reception staff were terrible and on the 3 ocassions I actually went to them for assistance they were pretty rude. They really let a pretty good hotel down. The hotel only has one shower room for departing guests in a 200+ room hotel, on our departure date we got a whole 15 mins for 3 of us to get showered and ready. Anyone who is thinking of going only go if you are getting a better deal than the Marasol and Gloria Palace and dont go full board.

The food at pool was not good
