the location of the hotel was great. didnt like the fact that breakfast was included and that we did not have the option to just book the room without the breakfast. the lift is extreemly old, noisy, and slow. in fact it was not functional on a particular day. most of the front desk officers were quite nice however the employee assigned to this position when we checked out was extreemly rude. i understand she had a lot of pressure and might have been a bit stressed out, but there's a way and a way to deal with customers ... especially upon check out. when we first got to the room, it stank of dirty feet / socks and we were basically disgusted. we had to open the window and let some fresh air come in. one last thing ... the hotel does not offer an iron to its customers on request. we were told that it is not done in spain. ive just visited madrid last april and they had one on request!!! anyways, ramblas hotel wanted to charge 3 euros per piece for the ironing. i had to buy a small iron myself instead. |

We were shocked as the price is far too high for the quality offered.I could even send you photo's I took of the view from our room.No airconditioning the whole place is worn out. for practically € 200 per night...this is unbelievable.A hotel like that should not exceed € 95, per night. The only good thing about the hotel is the location |

You step out the front door into dead centre Barcelona right on the famous Ramblas Not a hotel to stay inside and enjoy the facilities and comfort but great if you just want a basic clean room with no trimmings to sleep in and spend most of your day out. Very old building needing a good refubishment. Expected to have room with view as shown on the internet pictures. |

+ Location; + Friendly good English speaking staff; + View from the room to Ramblas, and even the whole city (9th floor) - Breakfast available only from 8 a.m. - White toast bread for the breakfast was mouldy (with blue spots) - Elevator was not working properly most of the time (however it should be noted that we were offered to change the room to lower floor); -Bathroom things (showergel, shampoo, soap) were not put in the bathroom every day |

The family room suited our needs exactly. The continental breakfast was excellent. The corridors were well lit and signed The lift ceased functioning on our last day and we had to walk up and downstairs several times. No hotel staff offered tio assist with our baggage |

Good location. Not a business hotel - no internet, wired or wireless. Breakfast hours were too late (8-10) - we paid for breakfast for 2 days. One elevator was out of action for compete stay. |

Its location was perfect. The breakfast was poor. (One day the tea-coffee-hot water machine was out of order.) Is it possible to add tea-coffee facilities to the rooms? It is just a kettle and two cups anyway. It saves life :) |

Very bad service (The sink was plugged during all my stay, Friday to Monday, and was not fixed because it was "weekend". No alternative room was available) |
