I appreciated being so close to Santiago's historical center while feeling comfortably away from the city hassles. I also liked the elegant comfort and style of the place which conveys the impression of both being in a good hotel and of sort of benefiting from the solemnity of monastery living. When having breakfast, we got coffee on repeated occasions, but it never managed to be sufficiently warm. Another thing maybe: it could be more adapted to general demand to have a second internet terminal installed. |

Good proximity to the city, helpful and friendly staff, interesting building with adjacent museum and church. Atmosphere was rather sterile, with no pictures in rooms or corridors (this may be because it is in a convent). Despite the room being spacious, there was only one armchair and no table. |

Beds were very good and food was refined and delicious Very complicated to get in/out of bathtub/shower; TV set too small and not very good choice of channels. |

Excellent location. Great help with car; valet parking. Excellent and smiling service. Good food. Excellent room/lobby/bathroom. Just a pity that the only people in the restaurant were ourselves; the food and service were really good but we felt lonely! |

A fantastic hotel to stay in. Good location in the centre of town and with plenty to see and do. Superb tapa bars and restaurants within a few yards of the hotel. Expensive but a real luxury |

The history of the hotel was very interesting however that had to be requested and not proactively offered. The hotel lacks atmosphere it was more like rented apparments rather then a hotel. Very disappointed, double room does not mean two single beds made up individually and then push together. For the rate the room furniture was sparse and did not fit room size. |

The hotel was well located for exploring the old town and had secure parking. The staff are friendly and it is fabulous to stay in an old monastery and feel like you are a part of the history. The design of the hotel is good. I would like to have had free internet access in the bedroom. It is free in certain parts of the hotel but not in the bedrooms. This is frustrating. There are not many tv channels from which to select but none of this should matter too much of you are there to explore the town! |

The staff are excellent, the hotel is very clean and peaceful. Well situated for exploring the old town. Great value for money. Had dinner on one night - the food was very disappointing. Would not eat there again. |

Everything was great. I would stay again and would highly recommend it. It would have been nice if parking were free or not as expensive. It was great to have free Wi-Fi. |

The location, the architecture, the space inside the rooms. The water's temperature of the pool (interior) should be warmer although it's not an important factor. |

I adore all the arquitecture, was great all the design in it, the restaurants inside have a great design as well, the people in the reception were very helpful the buffet is not very good, doesn´t have many options, the pool was cool need to warm up the water, needs more amenities in the bedroom and bathroom |

Originally a convent of Franciscan monks, which has been very tastefully transformed into a modern top hotel (****). Located in the very centre of Santiago de Compostela, in very short walking distance to all the (many, many) sites worth visiting in this beautiful, history-laden city. |

The Hotel was elegant, calm and peaceful and had been beautifully renovated/refurbished, mixing the medieval with contemporary in a most sensitive and creative way. The welcome was vry warm and friendly. The bedroom was beautifully appointed and the beds extremely comfortable and the bathroom excellent. Food was also excellent. TV channels too restricted. there were only two english language channels and would have expected BBC World channel TV or Sky News at the very least for a four star hotel in Europe. CNN doesn't cut it for UK tourists. We also think the hotel should offer tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Room service starts very late - at 10. |

The hotel is very quiet, peaceful and comfortable! The staff are very friendly and professional. The price for breakfast seems a bit expensive - we chose to have breakfast in town. |

Staff was friendly. Hotel was not too busy. Hotel rooms maintain the feel of the monastary rooms they once were. Bad smell in the bathroom. |
