We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and particularly liked the contemporary design of the hotel. The room was very comfortable and we liked the marble and wood floors (as opposed to carpet). The rooms were very quiet even though the hotel was nearly full. I would have liked more conciege services to help with booking restaurants, tours, etc. |

The room was excellent, very comfortable and roomy for a single and the film theme was interesting and made the hotel a little different. There was a balcony but when you opened the door to is there was a slight whiff of sewage and not a particularly great view so it was pointless using it! I did not think it was great value given the location which was quite a long way from the beachfront. |

We really enjoyed the hotel´s decor, lounge area, cafe and breakfast at the hotel. Radiant floor heating in the bathroom is a very nice touch. |

The design and layout of the rooms, the Sofia Loren room in particularly. The friendly & hospitable staff even at 1.30 in the morning made this stay particular memorable. Perhaps the distance from the old town, but a lovely stroll along the river soon make up for this... |

The design of the rooms was good. I liked the magic closing lavatory seats! No restaurant for evening meals, just a joined on cafeteria/bar. Adjoining rooms weren't able to be left open - it was just a shared hallway - not ideal for families. The reception staff were friendly but not helpful in bringing in baggage. There were only 3 shampoo/shower/ bottles and the price was not in line with the size of the rooms or the "extra touches" that I would expect from a 4 star hotel. I would not recommend this hotel for a family - I'd suggest they try the Amara across the road. |

Found it nteresting the focus on the film festival and the movies industry people involved. The breakfast was better than most. The rooms were small, but not without comfort and trendy atmosphere. |

The Astoria7 is a modern hotel about a 30 minute walk south of the Port area. It has excellent quality rooms fitted to a high standard with free wi-fi and mini-bar. Car parking is available in the underground car park. I did not take breakfast in the hotel, but they have their own cafe around the corner which serves all one would expect, and is clean, bright and reasonably priced. Staff speak excellent English. A stylish hotel, and excellent value for money. |

The film concept of the hotel worked well. It was good to have the use of an extensive DVD library (free of charge). The staff were very helpful and friendly. |

The hotel was comfortable and conveniently located, bus stop outside, staff friendly and helpful. A bar where you could have a beer or glass of wine at night would be nice. |

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Excellent secure parking worth every penny.Good laundry service.Good sized room. Decent hairdryer in bathroom. A 4 star hotel should have a restaurant not just a walk in off the street tapas bar. |

The Barceló Costa Vasca hotel is located in the residential district of Ondarreta, in San Sebastián, near the beach and next to Miramar Palace gardens. |
The Hotel Amara Plaza blends bold architecture with advanced technical facilities, and lies beside the River Urumea at the entrance to San Sebastián. |
The Zaragoza Plaza Hotel is a modern and functional hotel in the center of San Sebastian, just a few steps from La Concha Beach and Plaza Zaragoza. |
This classy, continental-style hotel is set in a turn-of-the-century building in San Sebastián’s city centre, just off the beautiful beach of La Concha. |
