Hotel staff friendly and helpful with directions. Close drive to Costa Brava. Very willing to keep my laptop securely stored while I was out of hotel. Room had balcony and was quiet. Nice clean outdoor pool but too chilly during our stay to use. Would have been good with kids. Meticulous upkeep. Easy walk to Dali museum. Free wireless and free parking!

Beautiful location and stunning gardens

Wish we could have stayed longer

The location is up a mountain and so out of the bustle of San Sebastian. It is a lovely downhill walk to the city with gorgeous views. The setting is almost pastoral with plenty of green space as well as sheep nearby and you can hear roosters in the morning. Lovely ocean views in from some of the balconies. Clean and well run establishment.

My first room was not impressive at all. There was a stained carpet with a terrible cleaning smell and it was extremely noisy (near the front door). The second room faced the ocean and was much more comfortable, with tile rather than old carpeting and the smell was gone. It was kept in good shape but the amenities are basic (i.e no hair dryer or fancy shampoos). It is good value in high season. A big frustration was the noise level through the entire stay. Guests came in making loud noises in the halls up to 2am and the walls are very thin so we could hear a telephone conversation as if it was in our own room. We would have appreciated if the hotel would ensure the noise level was kept quiet after 11. It is a significant drawback.

To the point and functional, does the job, quiet and peaceful, some lovely views near to (but not at) the hotel. A car is definitely helpful, staying here depends on whether you need to be in the thick of the action down in the bay (although taxis are about 10E, and buses are every 30 minutes and cheap/efficient). Walkable to the Mercure hotel lounge (fantastic views) and mini theme park.

Butlins holiday camp feel (only Brits will know the feeling). Our room was not cleaned until the following early evening. No shower curtain meant the bathroom was flooded (and on tiled floors, this was quite dangerous). Breakfast ok but coffee should be kept on hot plates.

For the price we paid, this was a good hotel. The location was about 10 minutes drive out of town and the room was basic, but clean. Hotel staff were friendly, and helpful.

We were placed in another building of the hotel separate from reception where the wifi internet did not work. The walls were thin, and there was a lot of noise in the corridor throughout the night.

Parking was free. Internet access was free even though it was not a good trade off for the price of the room. Conveniences were good.

The price was too high. The heating was not very good

El entorno. En pleno Monte Igeldo, con unos alrededores muy bucólicos, conectado con San Sebastián mediante bus urbano cada media hora o taxi nocturno por 10€.

Sólo estuvimos en la recepción y la habitación. Interiores (moqueta, decoración, sanitarios...) algo anticuados. Una renovación le sentaría muy bien.

Hotel ubicado en un entorno rural pero a 5 minutos de la ciudad.

La habitación no ofrecía ninguna comodidad: no había gel en la ducha, alfombra para descalzarse, una estufa eléctrica como calefacción...etc
