It's located in the city central and very near the main beach so very convenient. The stuff are friendly. You may be particular about the noise of running water. |

really good location, right near the beach. Car parking is a nightmare so be warned. The local car park is 20 euro per day, our car got a nice series of new scratches while parked in there too. |

Friendly Staff. Super location. Very clean and tidy. Great little breakfast area and also sitting/ chill-out area upstairs where you can relax, read books, plan your day as the rooms themselves are quite small, so a great compromise. Excellent value for money. |

The staff, the location. Very helpful staff - even lent me a hairdryer when asked. The room was booked as a double but it was 2 single beds made up with single bedding just pushed together! Also the pillows were useless and the heating had no instructions with it and didn't work for the first night - go to reception as they have to switch something behind the desk for it to work. Breakfast was a bit strict - had a definite list that we were allowed to have and if wanted even a top up of coffee we would have been charged for it! Shame so nearly a lovely place to stay but just lacks something. |

The location is great. Balcony with a peep of the sea. Walk out the door to restaurants and promenade on the beach, very close. Lack of parking, although the arrangement with the neighbouring parking lot worked well, if a bit expensive. |

The walk along Concha beach broadwalk was excellent. The tapas bars we visited were absolutely fantastic - very different from other parts of Spain. The gentleman in Reception on arrival was excellent. But.... The gentleman the next morning was not!!!! Very sarcastic - everything we asked his reply was 'Why not'!!!! |

The balcony overlooked a nice city square garden with fountain. A nice touch that compensated for a very tiny room. Made it seem larger and much more comfortable. The staff was very nice. The room was smaller than we expected. |

Comfortable and quiet. Gret location to the historic core and the beach. Very friendly staff and very good free breakfast. air conditioning needs to be more powerful. It takes about 45-minutes for the room to cool down - fairly typical for Europe for still would like it improved. |

The hotel was within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The local underground car park is very close, and, although expensive at €20 a day, is probably no worse than other parking places in the town. |

I was pleasantly surprised on our arrival at this hotel that is rated as a one star. Of course the room was small and we had two single beds side by side. For the rate we paid, the location, breakfast included it is certainly worthwhile to stay there if your purpose is to visit San Sebastien. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again. |

It's brilliantly situated and good value if you are not there on one of the peak weekends. Unfortunately, we were. Everywhere else was extortionate, though, which makes the HZP the best value you can get, even when it is poor value. Does that make much sense? The rooms are air conditioned, but either too hot (off) or too cold (on). It was the same when we stayed there a year earlier. |

This is a great hotel, not what we had expected from a one star hotel at all! The staff was friendly and spoke english well. It`s only 2 minutes walking to the beach and good breakfast! The room was clean and had a minibar. We asked the hotel receptionist why this nice place had only one star, and the answer we got was that the stars is given based on the facilities that the hotel can offer, not so much on the standard of the rooms. This hotel only have one star because it does not have a restaurant and the location is in a main street. (but not a loud one) |

The hotel is well located for the main attractions in San Sebastian. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms clean. The rooms are small and relatively expensive - although San Sebastian can be pricey and it was a very busy weekend in town so rates were high. It was our second visit to this hotel so overall we like it. |

Hotel is about a block away from the boardwalk (not actually beachfront, but close enough). Big windows that opened in the bathroom. A little balcony over Plaza Zaragoza was nice, and not very noisy. We were there on a wednesday and thursday night, but it didn't seem like a plaza that ever got very rowdy. No cafes or bars there, just trees and a fountain. Room was a little bit small, but the bathroom was almost as big. Two twin beds pushed together does not equal a queen bed. Overall probably not a ton better than one of the many hostals in the same area. It's a pricey area, but if you really want a hotel room, and you don't want the londres or some other 3-4star craziness prices, then probably go here. |

Conveniently located near the beach and only a 10 minute walk to the old town. Most of which is on the promenade. The staff were very friendly and helpful at every opportunity. |

Excellent location, not too expensive, nice staff, smoking on balcony allowed. Despite central location, not too noisy. No parking (parking on the street is impossible in San Sebastian and parking garages are about 20€/24 hrs); no shampoo in bathroom. Not that these are serious problems, but you should be aware of them when booking. |

The Barceló Costa Vasca hotel is located in the residential district of Ondarreta, in San Sebastián, near the beach and next to Miramar Palace gardens. |
This fashionable, contemporary hotel is set in the former Astoria Cinema – an iconic and unique setting for your visit to the classy seaside city of San Sebastián. |
This charming hotel is located on to Mount Igeldo, just 300 metres from Ondarreta Beach. It offers a variety of facilities and is close to beaches and local attractions. |
Ideally located near Concha Beach as well as the city centre, this hotel has great access to the local tapas bars and provides smart, simple accommodation. |
