The hotel rooms themselves were fine but customer care was completely lacking. The hotel was undergoing external painting which we were not advised about when booking. |

The owner of this hotel was very helpfull & friendly. The hotel is a lovely building set in nice gardens which is unusual for a city centre hotel . We did not really mind the fact that it is located on a hill as we are fit pensioners ! & we found really good restaurants on the descent . I would recommend this place to all who like a good & personalised hotels. |

The hotel had a nice feel about it and the receptionist friendly and very helpful. There was an excellent selection of foods at the breakfast which would have satisfied and catered for most tastes. |

The hotel is in an old building (with a lovely entrance courtyard and ample free parking), but perhaps because it is part of a school for students to become hotel personnel, there was a lot of attention to detail, and bathroom fixtures, etc. were modern upgrades. Our room on the second level had a lovely, large, shared balcony with table and chairs. All amenities were eco-friendly. Free wireless internet worked very well. We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open in the evening, as it looked very promising, but according to Reception, the school term for the restaurant doesn't begin until mid-October. It was a bit difficult to find food in the immediate walking area. |

Friendly helpful staff. The room was large, cool and well appointed. Good views over the garden at the rear. Informal relaxed atmosphere. The walk into the heart of the city is down a steep hill and it is a bit of a climb coming back. This was not a problem to us but could be if you have any walking difficulty. |

Spotlessly clean, spacious room & bathroom. Helpful staff. Breakfast good and plentiful - expected to pay extra but was included in price. Fine for us, but steep walk from centre may be a problem for some people. |

Hotel had a nice atmosphere, and the staff was friendly. Has its own parking place. Great breakfast. Soundproofing especially from the hallway isn't the best possible. |

The friendly service, the 5/10 minute walk from the centre, the garden, the well-presented rooms, etc. Lack of air-conditioning - was very warm at night and although you could open the windows, it lets in the mozzies! |

The hotel is well situated in Santander, not too far from the city center. It has its own parking, which is a great advantage, given the parking possibilities in the town. Rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. |

The Hotel itself was lovely, the staff made us feel very welcome despite the fact that we speak very little Spanish and their English was very good. No evening meal available. |

Friendly staff though very reduced -- possibly during school vacation. Very clean and quiet with good view of city. Very good parking facilities if you are driving Poor directions on website to get there by bus. It said which bus to take, but not where to get off. A lift up to the third floor would have been nice. |

I was very pleased to find such an original, lovely villa-hotel just above (15 minute walk) from the busy center of Santander. I liked everything: the room, the fabulous view from my terrace, the beautiful garden, the easy-going atmosphere, the small size. The direct route to the nicest beach on the bus was good, too. The restaurant nearby was the best I tried while in Spain. |

This fully renovated hotel is located between the Gran Casino and the Magdalena Palace, facing the Sardinero beaches. It offers fully equipped rooms with balconies, most of which overlook the sea. |
With a stunning location overlooking Sardinero’s golden bay, this luxurious hotel has a charming, maritime theme, a fabulous restaurant and bedrooms that enjoy sea views. |
The Silken Coliseum stands out as much for its unique façade as its impressive service. It lies in the very hub of Santander, between its historic centre and Plaza Italia. |
Situated just a short walk from the centre of the charming town of Santillana del Mar, these modern and practical apartments are surrounded by gardens, with views of the Cantabrian landscape. |
