This was the second time I have stayed here and I was just as pleased with the accommodation and hotel staff as before. Also, being a smoker, I think it is great that they have kept a few rooms for people who smoke. The rooms are spotless and the cleaning staff very hard working. The only comment I can make is that most of the staff find it difficult to understand and speak English. I assure you this is not a complaint, this is a Spanish town in Spain and I think Estudios Aranzazu caters mainly for Spanish people, families. It did give me a change to show of my miming skills so there was no problem !! |

I think this positive reviewers must have been staying in a different hotel !. Save for the location there is nothing positive I can say. The room was grubby and tired with a single bulb swaying above the beds. It reminded me of a cheap hostel rather than a hotel. I only stayed one night - thank goodness ! |

Staff very helpfull and the location was ideal for exploring this beutifull city. Great value for money. I would definatley stay there again. First impression I thought the room was a bit dull but it actually grew on me. There was also a lot of work going on in the street, replacing the pavement etc. so there was quite a bit of noise, but I think this was only tempory. |

Nothing, it was the worse accommodation and poor value for money I have ever experienced. I tried to book out but was told I would have to pay for the full week whether I stayed or not. The room was filthy, there were long hairs on the floor and in the bathroom. The noise was unbelievable and the room totally substanard. My friends were travelling 2 days after me and I advised them immediatley to cancel their booking as they were able to do this. |

La gente de la recepcion pudiera ser mas agradable Something horrible the worst hotel/place in my life. Dirty, noisy (I could hear the whole discussion of my neighbours). Looks like if the latest renovation took place before the second world war. It's quite far from the beaches. People from the reception could have be more friendly |

The fact that it was an apartment-hotel and had a kitchen. But for a one-day trip it's not recommended. The bathroom was way to small, and the staff was very dry and grumpy. |

Room was clean and discounts are available at local car parks Rooms are like student bed-sits. Decor and equipment was very shabby but bathroom was newer and bedding was very clean. No lighting in shower area makes things difficult. Location is 15 Mins walk from the center. |

The apartment allowed us to cook our own food. It was conveniently located for bus use and for bike rental. It would be nice if salt, pepper, sugar, dish detergent, a dish cloth and a dish towel were provided (especially the latter three). The walls are a little thin, so you can hear noisy people in the morning or late at night on the street (bring ear plugs). As there is no air conditioning, the windows needed to be open for air circulation and cooling. |

Ideal budget accomodation in a good central location for exploring Santander on foot. A short walk from the ferry terminal, bus and train stations. |

Well run hotel near the heart of Santander with a staffed front desk 24 hours long. Clean and efficient. |

This hotel is housed in a restored late 19th-century palace located in the upper part of Santander, surrounded by 5,000 m² of well-tended gardens. |
This fully renovated hotel is located between the Gran Casino and the Magdalena Palace, facing the Sardinero beaches. It offers fully equipped rooms with balconies, most of which overlook the sea. |
Welcome to Pension Magallanes, a friendly and comfortable place situated in the very heart of downtown Santander. We have single, double, twin and family bedrooms. |
The hotel lies in the charming, historical heart of Santander, in the commercial centre, near the sea, the Brittany Ferries ferry port and the train station and offers good access to the Sardinero... |
