We were looking for a comfortable hotel where we could rest after driving across Spain to catch the ferry. This proved to be a first class choise. It was very comfortable, the staff were helpfull and friendly and we had a quiet and undisturbed nights rest. It is also only a short taxi ride, or brisk walk, to Santander town/city centre for and excellent choise of bars and restaraunts. |

Good hotel for a stay in Santander. Staff friendly and helpful. Public areas and bedrooms spacious and clean. Car park easy to access. Near to beaches, cafes and restaurants. 30 minute walk to centre of Santander or 5 minutes by regular buses and taxis (near hotel). City centre has more choice of resturants if required. Hotel garden small but ideal if warm enough to take a drink outside. View of sea from most balconies. 5 minutes drive to Ferry Port. Hotel suited us perfectly. |

The room 405 had a modern design with a wonderful view towards the beach and the cliffs. We very much appreciated our stay, and truly recommend this hotel! |

The room was excellent. The whole hotel swish but not unfriendly to my lively two under tens. Everything we wanted was nearby. Taxis to Santander were cheap. We should have walked to the zoo but didn't get round to it. |

The proximity to the beach and the bus stop was convenient. Good location to see Santander. Could see the water view from the room. Bed was not that great. Could be updated. |

I thought the location of the hotel was fantastic, if you enjoy the beach its straight across the street, the views are also beautiful and Santander city centre is 5 mins in a taxi or about 15-20 min walk. |

Rooms very comfortable, very nice and helpful staff. Nice balcony off room with sea view. Very convenient for El Sardinero beaches and close to Bars/restaurants. We couldn't find bar, despite the fact that the hotel description includes one. |

The location is perfect. Ifyou get a sea view that is also a plus of the Hotel. Breakfast is poor for a 4* Hotel. Low on hot food and fruits. |

The reception and restaurant and room staff were without exception welcoming and helpful. The facilities, including wi-fi, were excellent, and the balcony was spacious and both sunny and shady. The hotel had a quiet location and yet was still close to the beach. We enjoyed relaxing in the shady garden as we were lucky with sunny weather for the whole of our stay. Easy to either walk into town or catch a bus. We liked it all. |

Convenience of situation: secure parking available On arrival were allocated a room by reception which was of a different grade to one booked (Junior Suite). Could not downgrade to this room without contacting Booking.Com as hotel said contact must be made by customer. Repacked bags and moved to Junior Suite so a lot of inconvenience. |

The Silken Rio Santander is a modern hotel with excellent views of the wonderful beaches of El Sardinero and the Cantabrian Sea. |
With a stunning location overlooking Sardinero’s golden bay, this luxurious hotel has a charming, maritime theme, a fabulous restaurant and bedrooms that enjoy sea views. |
The Silken Coliseum stands out as much for its unique façade as its impressive service. It lies in the very hub of Santander, between its historic centre and Plaza Italia. |
This extensive hotel lies just 150 m from Santanders famous Sardinero Beach. Its luxurious, spacious rooms can accommodate up to 5 people. |
