I was very disappointed with this hotel I had asked for a non-smoking room but was first assigned to a smoking room. When I again asked for a non-smoking room I was assigned to a "designated" no-smoking room but the room was saturated with smoke - so much so that my clothes were permeated with smoke. The breakfast was most disappointing - no fresh orange juice (in Spain!) and the coffee was of poor quality and cold. I would not stay at this hotel again. It does not deserve a four star rating. |

The location of this hotel is good, only a 15 minute walk to the old center of Santiago. There are a couple of good supermarkets very close to the hotel, as well as a few restaurants/cafes. The pool area is very nice and was open each day we were there. Our room was a bit small for a big chain hotel, but very nice and comfortable. Nothing major...the furniture and carpets in the halls were quite worn. Sometimes there was a mysterious smell of mothballs. Really a 3-star hotel, but I would still recommend it based on what I said above! |

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and I had a beautiful view out of my room. It was very quick to walk to the Universidad, and easy to catch a bus into town. No kettle (so no coffee/tea in room) and no iron and ironing board. But for fifteen Euros I bought myself a small coffee machine at the bargain shop across the street. |

Easy to find, clean and good value evening buffet & breakfast. Reception staff should tell people when they arrive that if the front car park is full, and it usually is, there is another & larger hotel car park behind the hotel and close to the outside swimming pool. |

The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful and the room service (cleaning) was efficient. We were disappointed that the pool was not open due to the overcast weather and a chemical treatment and remained shut even when the sun came out for an afternoon. We chose the hotel for the pool and considered we should have been able to choose to use it if required |

A very central location and overall a lovely comfortable hotel. The food was also very good and catered for vegetarians too. My only criticisms are that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and the swimming pool was closed-even though we had one day of warm sunny weather-we were told that it`s only open in the Summer season. |
