A very short walk from the Plaza de España Metro station, the Sercotel Suites Viena is a great place to stay while in Madrid. It's in a nice area, as some of the other hotels in the price range were in areas that didn't seem to be the best. Upon arrival, the front desk was very friendly, and actually upgraded us to a nicer room, because we used Booking.com to make reservations. The room was very nice - clean design, Euro-fashionable furniture and two full beds joined together. The room had a small kitchenette, minibar, LCD TV (with sound in the bathroom) and a patio overlooking the city. Throughout our 3 day stay, the front desk staff was always very friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and quiet, and getting around town was easy and safe from this area. Internet is included and free, but wireless internet on the 6th floor didn't work too well. So, they offer network cables for free (with 5E deposit). All in all, a great place to stay in Madrid! |

This hotel has a nice location because it is close to major attractions, shopping, restaurants, etc but situated in a neighborhood and therefore one can escape a bit from all the tourists and get a sense of how people live in Madrid. The rooms have a very chic, modern design. The room was not as clean as it should have been. |

Front-desk staff. Pantry. The blanket was neither warm or compfortable enough (too thin). Hotel amenities were not enough for two persons. Shampoo ran out after second ot third uses. I stepped on a doop-stoppper knob in the bathroom for several times. |

Staff was very good, room was pretty big with small kitchen and balcony. Just 5 min. walk from Plaza de Espana and 10 min. from shopping. We arrived around noon, and room couldn't be ready till 2pm. But staff was very helpful in getting our luggages stored so we didn't need to wait around. Other than this inconvenience, the rest was very good. |

Comfort, stylish and roomy suit with a kitchen space (with microwave!). Large balconу with table and 4 chairs (it's better to say "terrace"!) in some rooms (like in 606). Clean and nice bathroom. Capacious wardrobes. There is a safe in the room (and it's free). LCD TV. Comfortable beds. Very good location on quiet street - 7 minutes walk to metro Plaza de Espana (see map). No kitchen facilities in the room (no kettle, no spoons, knives, cups etc.). It's strange while there is a kitchen itself:) No Wi-Fi in the room, only desktop PC in the lobby, but it's free. And a little bit unexpected payment politics - after 5 or 6 days (2 days before leaving) we found a paper in the room in which we were told to pay for these days. |

Good location, clean and modern rooms with a good size. The area roundabout is very quiet and safe. Walking distance to the main shopping/tourist areas is about 10 minutes. With the metro only about 5 minutes away. The desk staff were helpful and spoke good English. If anything, bathroom was a bit small, so mirrors kept steaming up. |

very good staff - always willing to help. hotel well located and very comfortable - will definitely recommend and use it again find it very strange that suites have cooker and fridge but no facility for making tea/coffee - no cups, no pots, no kettle. think most travellers appreciate this provision. I mean why have cooker and fridge if you can't make use of them due to lack of other essentials required for minimal self-catering? |

Perfect location!!! We took hop-on hop-off city tour bus and there were two stops within 3-5 mins walk from the hotel.Everyhting in the hotel and about it is exactly as advertised! Staff are nice and very helpful, and all speak English. Hearing a lot about hotels in Madrid we won't think twice to recommend it or stay there on our next visit! Great value for money. There is no kettle in the room, so if you want to have tea better bring your own! |
