Location was great, right in the old area. The room had what I needed in it. Free WiFi. The bar served good coffee. Close to restaurants. The reception staff were reserved. The cleaner wanted to clean the room before 10am which I thought was a bit early. |

I almost didn't book here based on the comments of bookings.com but I am really happy that I did. Although the front staff or Sevillanos in general might not smile/laugh or seem welcoming, they really are. When my taxi driver wouldn't take a 50Euro, the front desk nightman happily changed the money for me. The service when leaving the bags there for the day when checking out was no problem and they were really kind and helpful. The design of the hotel is great and the location was perfect - very close to all of the sights but just out of the way enough not to be too noisy. This is a general observation about most hotels in Spain in the same class category - which is they don't have a shower curtain but half of the bath covered with a plastic panel - unfortunately this always leads to water on the floor. Other than this one fact everything else in the hotel was very good. Would highly recommend the hotel based on value for price, uniqueness and location. Have stayed in everything from hostels to 5 star hotels and this certainly compares with other good hotels in the 3 to 4 star range. |

The location regarding city trips is almost perfect. It takes 5 minutes to the Giralda where you are surrounded by crowd of tourists but you can still enjoy observing local people in their everyday life in the hotel vicinity. The room was dark, situated in the middle of the hotel with a relatively small window with the view into some kind of a square light shaft. The room was also very noisy because it was neighboring to the cleaners utility room and there was also some kind of machine noise coming from the shaft (maybe elevator engine). |

The hotel is lovely, great location and pool area. The staff were not interested in helping or giving information. There was no information about the city in the rooms, or how to use the Wi-fi or any of the hotel facilities. Maids were extremely noisy in the morning actually banging brooms and buckets against our door! |

Excellent location for the city sights, restaurants and bars. Beds very comfortable Reception staff not very plesent on arrival, departure or coming in and out of the hotel (just a smile and hello would do). Nicest staff member was the barman. If staying request a room at the back of the hotel as Saturday Night is extremely noisy at the front. |

We booked this hotel at a discount of 50% and were therefor very satisfied about the price / quality. The room was big and clean and the location was perfect to visit all important sites in Seville. The staff wasn't very friendly. |

The rooftop pool was an outstanding oasis in the middle of Seville. Great views of all the church steeples, and the bells........... Hotel took care of parking and we were able to view Seville on foot, as it should be, without care about the auto. I rarely complain about staff that do their jobs. The staff at Fernando iii were very cold. We stayed at 6 hotels on this trip, and their attitude was noticeably different. The best place to see a local, free Flamenco show was around the corner from the hotel, La Carboneria, but when asked where we could find Flamenco in a bar rather than the more formal shows the fron desk staff looked to the sky and couldn't come up with a single place. This place is known to all the locals and it appears in several tourist blogs. Thank goodnes for the girl in the gelato place up the block who told us about La Carboneria and Plaza Alfalfa. |

The hotel is ideally located in the barrio Santa Cruz and was an excellent base for exploring all the main tourist attractions. The roof top pool was a fantastic plus - especially after a long hot day's sightseeing. Everything was clean and well presented. The staff weren't overly friendly |

Good location, close to cathedral. Great rooftop pool which we had most of the time amazingly to ourselves. Nice bathroom with good shower. Lots of restaurants nearby and places for breakfast. Room was dark, small windows. Staff are not that welcoming, some made a bit of an effort to be helpful others did their best to ignore you & I spoke Spanish so its not as if they could not understand. Expensive breakfast, don't bother & dining room was empty the whole time, don't bother either. |

Location was amazing, right in the very best part of town with lovely cafes for breakfast and surrounded by bars and boutiques, not to mention the stunning cathedrals and architecture! The hotel itself was excellant, gorgeous pool with views over the rooftops, much more than i'd dared to hope. Bar closed early |

Nice hotel situated in the most interesting part of Sevilla. All major spots are within walking distance. Staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel and rooms have been very clean at all time. Theres a small but beatiful pool on the rooftop with a great view over the city. There's really nothing negative to say. Just note, that the pool can be very crowded towards evening. |

We chose this hotel for its central position and rooftop pool, neither of which disappointed- if you're going to Seville in the hotter months, you do need both (and the pool area is large enough to cope with a number of people, which can't be said about some other hotels). Staff are nice, and the rooms are well-sized and comfortable. Good choice, all told. The 500m trudge to the cathedral area becomes a little boring after a couple of days, but this is a small price to pay for the other amenities the hotel offers. Parking is a bit pricey, and not that easy to find (but I challenge anyone to find cheap accessible parking in Seville...) |

The terrace bar was closed which makes it difficult when you spend your time in the swimming pool and the heat reaches 47 degrees. No bottle of waters available, not even from the mini bar which was locked! No towels available for the guests. |

The free internet was nice, and no one was ever on the one computer. Also the pool was very enjoyable and perfect in the hot weather. The location was good, near lots of restaurants and easy access to main area of the city, but not close enough to the real tourist hub in my opinion. I would look for something closer to the Cathedral if I were to stay in Seville again. The hotel reception (with the exception of the bellman) were very unfriendly. It seemed as though everything we asked (which were minor requests) was a chore for them. They would answer your questions but I do not think they smiled once, and they never said hello when we came into the hotel or goodbye when we left even, very unfriendly. |

We found everything, from the marbled reception area, the lifts, rooms and swimming pool in very near perfect condition. The staff were reserved but very helpful. It was only 10 minutes walk from the cathedral and other sites of interest. Ideal for our needs and excellent value. Food in the hotel was expensive but there are plenty restaurants and bars close by. |

The Silken Al Andalus is located a short drive from Seville’s city centre, by the Plaza de España. It combines free Wi-Fi and an outdoor pool with traditional Andalusian design. |
Set in a peaceful district but still within walking distance of the city’s sights, this hotel allows you to stay in authentic Andalusian surroundings in the region’s capital. |
Housed in an old Sevillian palace and situated in front of the famous Cathedral and Giralda, this hotel is just across the square and very close to the major tourist attractions. |
This former 18th century sanctuary, now coverted into a 3-star hotel, is located in the heart of Seville's old quarter, in La Plaza de La Alameda. |
