Flexable staff, we complained about the smell in the room(Smokers-room) and immediately we got another room You have to manage,with your luggage, 3 (small) staircases(1 up, 2 down) before you can use an elevator, and there is no hotel-employe who is willing to help you. |

The staff there are all very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Not enough facilities and would be nice to have a kettle in the room. |

Walking distance to Gugenheim museum. Good access by car and good parking. Very good decor and nice rooms. |

The location is close to the city centre. The room is spacious and clean.The price is reasonable. I would like to stay there again if I happen to go to Bilbao. |

The room was clean and comfortable The movie purchase feature fid not work. The staff spoke limited english and seemed unwilling to help because I did not speak Spanish. The cafeteria offered limited choices at lunch for international travelers. |

Good comfortable room + excellent breakfast. Nothing to do with the hotel - but where were all the bars and restaurants in Bilbao??!! 8pm on a Saturday night, and nothing seemed to be open apart from a few smoky bars with tapas. The Old Town was dead as a dodo. We finally returned to the hotel - where the restaurant opened at 9pm - and had an excellent dinner, if somewhat more pricey than we had anticipated. |

We enjoyed a budget weekend stay en route for the ferry at Santander. Very convenient luxurious city centre hotel, 15 mins on foot to Guggenheim, 5 mins to Gran Via. Excellent buffet breakfast, good cafeteria, vast bathroom. Room TV did not work. |

This hotel is superbely placed for a city vist. Shops, bars and eateries just a a short stroll away. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are comfortable - unusual for an hotel. The price of the drinks in the hotel bar was quite expensive but with the proximity of all of the alternatives this shouldn't be a problem. |

The public area, ie bar area, was busy and a good atmosphere prevailed, the room was very quiet and well away from the hubhub of the bar. The Hotel being in the centre made finding it difficult in the car, but once there the porter was very helpful in that he parked the car for us in the prebooked garage space. |

our second stay at this hotel, the previous one being 3 years earlier, and it is as good as last time. The rooms were excellent as were the helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was excellent too. The hotel is situated about 20mins walk from the old town and the Guggenheim. There are numerous small bars nearby and a range of restaurants. |

Appreciated being able to check in early. Very friendly, helpful staff throughout hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast. Good €20 lunch menu. Less than 5 mins walk to metro station. 15-20 min stroll to Guggenheim. |
