Excellent position. Very near Picasso Museum, Cathedral, Alcazabar, bars and restaurants. Reasonably quiet, well run, very clean and helpful staff. Very good value for money. No breakfast but not really a problem as plenty of nearby places. |

Location is ideal for both Malaga town and visitor sites as well as the beach. Got twin beds on the first night but manged to change to a double for the second. Walls are very thin, was kept awake by our snoring neighbour ! |

3 min walk to the main shopping street, cafes, tourist info & hop on/off bus. Rooms clean & comfortable, has a lift. Helpful staff, great value. No breakfast facilities but a couple of cafes opposite. Could offer a coffee machine perhaps. |

friendly staff, no nonsense hotel, no luxuary but adequate, in the non-smoker room had been smoked however but staff reacted well and gave us another room. Although ashtrays were in that room too, the atmosphere was not too bad. it was possible to open te windows |

Central location in the city, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and cultural acivities. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Friendly reception staff. The fact that no food is available is perhaps relfected in the price of rooms. |

We had a very early morning flight and it was pretty close to the airport. It was a bit noisy because it was Semana Santa and people were up until all hours. |

The location was excellent, within walking distance of the old centre, museums and castle and not far from the bus and rail stations. The street was quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. The mattress was really hard! |

It was very conveniently placed for public transport, Internet café, shopping, clean and staff were v.helpful You could hear noise from other rooms but it was not too bad. I really would have loved the hotel to offer breakfast. It was a bit difficult to get up and go out without at least a nice cup of coffee. |

Hotel Sur is located very close to the centre of Malaga, close to restaurants, cathedral and historic areas of the city, bus station and port are only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Railway station easily reached by taxi in 10 minutes or less and 20 minutes taxi ride from the airport. Taxi rank is almost outside the door. Hotel staff were friendly, informative and helpful. Rooms facing the street can be noisy at times and light sleepers might be well-advised to ask for rooms not overlooking the street |
