THB El Cid

The hotel is close to LaPalma as well as the airport, all less then a 15 Euro taxi ride away. Location across the street from the beach was a major plus. Restaurants in the area don't have a lot to offer, best bet is to go into LaPalma if you want a more upscale restaurant.

The hotel is located in Can Pastillas, area is a little run down. Hotel is being kept up however lacking a "4 star" rating in my book, it's more like a 3. Lounge chairs around the pool area are mostly broken. Breakfast and Lunch buffets were "ok" - nothing special. Nothing at the buffet was labeled so it was a guessing game at times what you were taking or looking at.

It is very close to the beach - 89 steps to be exact. The staff was very friendly and assistive when renting bikes or cars. The rooms were simple and clean, great views of the beach. The hotel had 2 pools which was great.

The beds were a little uncomfortable.

Car park and convenience to airport. Pool were well kept. Not too crowded in April.

Good hotel, very friendly helpful staff throughout, especially the Argentenian gentleman on Reception. Spacious public rooms, nice pool area, comfortable bar with daytime snacks. Good buffet breakfast, better than average selection. Entertainment provided most nights in bar (although not to my own taste) Room a little small but adequate, comfortable bed, large balcony. I would stay here again.

I tried the buffet dinner one evening; the food was not quite up to a standard expected of a four star hotel but very good value for 14 Euro.

Professionell geführtes Hotel, mit gutem unauffälligem Service und ordentlichem Pool. Toller Meerblick aus unserem Fenster. Sehr gute Lage. Küchenleistung wie überall im Mittelmeerraum bei solchen Häusern (4SterneKategorie ambitioniert, Ergebnis aber nur so lala) diskussionswürdig.

Vi har bodd her flere ganger tidligere, men denne gang valgte vi en suite. Ikke veldig mye luksus med hensyn til innredningen, men det var god plass og med tre balkonger med havutsikt hadde vi det utrolig bra! Maten er god - både frokosten og middagsbuffeten. En skal være veldig kresen for ikke å finne noe som smaker her!

Det kunne ha vært litt mer komfortabelt om det på en av balkongene var solstoler/solsenger som kunne slås ned. Noen veggknagger til å henge opp ting på i suiten hadde også vært kjekt.

Instalaciones y habitacion correctas. Comida bufet aceptable con precio de las bebidas un poco abusivas.

Nära till samhället med flertalet bil- och cykeluthyrare. Ett stenkast från stranden och den fina strandpromenaden (med cykelbana längs hela kusten in till Palma). Vi fick en balkong med havsutsikt (vilket flertalen av rummen verkade ha) Det var även väldigt nära till flygplatsen. Helt okej frukostbuffé.

Dubbelsängen var två enkelsängar som var ställda bredvid varandra. Badrummet höll lite dålig standard. Butter personal.

Hotel sencillo pero relacion calidad precio muy buena. El desayuno tambien es muy bueno.
