Great value for the money. Unbeatable location a block from the plaza mayor. Actually had 24 hour reception area, fairly polite and professional staff, and many extras available such as in room safe, breakfast, tours, etc. Again, at this price point, these are unusual. I wouldnt go here for a romantic evening, but as a solo traveler, I would absolutely go here again. Rooms and baths were fairly small, and there was noise as other guests went down the hall at night. Again though, at this price point, these are not surprises. |

The location was truly amazing. Right in the middle of Madrid, and right off of the plaza mayor, but somehow still on a nice quiet street. I read some reviews of the hotels lack of english speaking staff, but everyone I met spoke spanish, english, and some french and german. Our room was very tiny, and you do have to pay extra for the very necessary air conditioning, but I think it is still an excellent value for the money that you pay. |

The receiptiont staff is really helpful. It just located by plaza mayor, great location for nightlife and transferring. You have to pay extra 7 Euro per night for air conditioner. The room is small, and barely have window. |

an excellent level of customer service, treated really nice, room was cleaned each day, new towels and shampoos were provided on a daily base. Literally 20 sec from Plaza Mayor, 3 minutes to tube Puerta del Sol - really central. Good value for money indeed. wifi connection was failing a lot, if you really need to have internet access please don't relay on Tijical. The air freshener they spray after cleaning the room stays all day long and it's too intensive. If you decide to stay double bed prepare yourself to have one large completely uncomfortable pillow. |

The staff were both friendly and helpful, and the location was outstanding. After a bad first impression, it turned out to be both convenient and comfortable. The entrance was hard to find and dirty, and there were 3 hairs on my bed sheets. The internet access was poor. The first impression was poor. |

Location is really terrific - though the directions are not helpful. The room was TINY, T-I-N-Y. There wasn't enough space to have two small suitcases in the room AND be able to stand up. It was incredibly loud. I thought this would be a change of pace from staying in hostels the rest of our trip - - - so much worse. |

Good location. It was so near to the Plaza Mayor-just 10 steps. There was information center and I could confirm everything what I wanted to know. The stuff explained about the narrowness of the room before payment. It was fair. They charged 1.5 euro per a day for the safe. Since it was better than nothing, it should be noted. And as the former user to write, when I first entered the room, it was smelly a little. Maybe the piping was the source of the smell... |

The quality of the service, the funny place it was, the proximity with the Plaza Mayor the phonic isolation... Sometimes it lacks |

Very well located, at a very nice price. Staff was nice, and rooms were nice too. They let keeping the luggage at the hotel for free until late night. Recommended for budget trips. Would book again if I visit Madrid again. Cleaning was not bad, but could be better at the bathroom. Only 1 set of bathroom amnesties for 2 days, but that was ok and we did not complain. |

The staff was very helpful and the location is spot on. A couple of yards from Plaza Mayor and close to metro stations and all the main sight and sounds of the city. Try to get a room with a view towards the front of the building onto the street. Okay, lets be honest, 3 euro is not a lot for breakfast, but then, you only get a cup of tea, a glass of juice, one slice of toast and one croissant! |

I did not like much! The photos on website showed a lovely modern hotel. In fact my room was a box, clean but very basic and no comfort or space to move or sit. Also, obliged to eat breakfast in room, sitting on side of bed. Look, it was a place for backpackers to sleep the night and have a shower. It was a hostel and not a hotel and this should have been emphasised on your site. |

It was central location and it was reasonably priced. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would return if I stayed in Madrid again. Make sure you take some toilet roll as you may get caught short. There was none whilst we stayed there!! |
