absolutely everything! it might be classified as a 2 star- but we received 5 star service! the rooms were very modest in decor, but the view was gorgeous! the staff was more than helpful (spoke English). we enjoyed the view and the town of Toledo so much that we extended for another night. |

Ok price level, very nice view from the room Very very basic accomodation with a hospital style room interior, which is not very pleasant. Very very old (but not antique) furniture, linen and towels, that should have been changed centuries ago! In winter time they do not heat the room all night! Take some extra blanket with you! Keep in mind that in Toledo in winter time there are basicly no restaurants open in the evening! We did not have the guts to try the hotel's restaurant because we were the only guest during the two nights we spent there and thus we did not expect to have fresh ingredients... |

Hotel La Almazara is a beautiful property, exterior of the building is nice and ample room for parking (free). The rooms are clean but run down. Only a 20 minute walk to the old city of Toledo. The rooms are run down with paper thin walls. I would not recommend staying over a weekend as you are constantly woken by the nocturnal activities of your neighbours and people arriving home in the early hours of the morning. They say they have internet but they don't. |

What La Almazara offers that perhaps others don't is a low price, and free, easy car parking. It's also very quiet (once you pull off the busy highway). The view of Toledo (if your room offers it) is spectacular--although this can also be had from other hotels (at a higher price), and from highway overlooks. The staff were genial, friendly and helpful -- we liked the people. It's one thing to be "basic" or "no frills" (such as the hotel's lack of in-room TVs, hairdryers, or an elevator) -- but we thought La Almazara was beginning to veer into marginal maintenance and cleanliness. Most certainly, we would have thought better of our experience if we had avoided the dining room (as everyone else seemed to). You can't really walk to anywhere else; and since we wanted wine with dinner, we opted not to drive. We found the food to be among the worst we had encountered in Spain, and at a stiff price. (What's more, paying our tab the next morning at checkout, we noticed that the menu price for one of our dishes was doubled on the bill.) |

Loved this hotel! Simple, but large room with huge balcony and a million dollar view over Toledo. Comfortable common rooms and friendly staff. Plus free parking on site. Great value for money. |

The hotel is pleasantly situated about 2 kms out of Toldeo, with very attractive views, from rooms with balcony, out over Toledo. It seems to be a part of an old country house. Simple meals are available in the evening. We enjoyed coffee and brandy afterwards, in the salon on big comfy sofas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Situation and setting is its strong point. Perfect for visiting Toledo, or for an en-route stopover. This is an older style hotel, and decor in bedrooms would benefit from a restyle and up-date. |

The location was good. Wonderful views of Toledo. Lounge comfortable and restaurant food quite good. The rooms were clean but rather basic and walls very thin between rooms. |

Location atmosphere and facilities were great. Staff was very helpful. When we were there , there was a bycicle race, roads were blocked and we could not get out to continue the trip. They found a solution to put the car in a certain parking that was out of the bycicle route but still close to the city. Breakfast was the best we had in the hotels we stayed in. We ordered a double room they showed us at first a twin room and said that was the only possibility , when we insisted they found a double room which was nice. So why did they say they don't have a double room? |

A 5 minute taxi ride outside Toledo, our room had stunning views over the whole of the city and this, together with not having to negotiate very difficult driving and parking conditions in the city centre made it an excellent choice. |

I could park my car securely right outside my door. The room was more than adequate for the price I paid as was the breakfast. The views from this hotel are fabulous. The Hotel is like a chateau, very lovely and secluded with a beautiful tree line drive.I would definately stay there again. |

It was a bit far away to walk with my luggage during daytime. Probably not really for backpackers but it was worthwhile looking over the fantastic view of Toledo. Especially, a night view and a morning sky were excellent. Good for the value. |

I like the terrace and the quiet location. The walk to town was close, no need for a taxi. The closet smelled like bug spray and we could have used extra pillows. |

Clean tidy in a lovely setting. A little was out of town but still well within reach to enjoy the sights. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room |

Really nice people running the place, so so helpful! Beautiful buildings, great scenery, but you need a car! This place is not the easiest to find, but there are lots of road signs for most hotels (including this one) on the main roads around the old part of the town - you do not need to worry, just look out for the signs. |

This is a hotel that enjoys a privileged historic-artistic setting, next to the Cathedral and very close to the Jewish Quarter. |
