Fantastic building and room. Carefully restored sixteenth century building with lovely central courtyard that forms the dining area. The room design is very plush with ornate bed surround and good bathroom. The hotel is well situated and only 10 minutes walk from the superb Plaza Mayor. We did get a parking space outside which was lucky. The pool is very small. When we stayed, there was no one else using it so that was OK. It would not have taken many more than the four of us for it to have been too full. One reviewer said that they don't speak any English at the hotel and this is pretty much true. We managed to get by with our pigeon Spanish and was not really a problem. The buffet breakfast was notably more than other places that we stayed and no better in quality. |

Very charming hotel. Beautifully appointed rooms (real king bed, not two twins pushed together!) Great location especially if driving in. |

Excellent hotel, very friendly helpful staff There were no facilities for toast with breakfast, however on the last day we realised that you have to ask the waiter/waitress for any hot food and they cook it for you. As a suggestion perhaps they could put a notice up in the dining room to that effect or the staff ask you if you would like toast or eggs, bacon etc. We do speak Spanish so there wasn't the excuse of a language problem. |
