Great location,friendly staff,clean room and bathroom. The best breakfast we ever eat in any hotel we have stayed in while abroad. The only down side was the walls could with a lick of paint, and some of the carpets were shabby and need to be replaced. |

Hotel very central - walking distance to everything. Airconditioning. Huge breakfast. I lost my purse during my stay - staff phoned restaurants to find it for me - went to collect it and posted it to me - can't get better service than that. |

Fantastic hotel, big rooms, very clean and comfy beds - we were on the 7th florr - not sure if this makes a difference?!? Bathroom was new and lovely too.. The staff were great... Such great value too!!! Cheaper than other hotels along the same road... People complain about the street workers but they're everywhere along Gran Via! Not just near this hotel... Duh... |

Central location-and rooms on floor sever were very quiet. The staff were very helpful Lots- Hairdryer did not work- no tea/coffee machine- beds needed legs tightened up- shower head not adjustable- water went every where.Bar in Hotel- not open- hotel smelt of cooked breakfast from 7am |

The hotel was in a perfect position. Next to Gran Via metro, shopping center, only few minutes walk for sightseeing. In the main street with full of well known shops. |

The hotel is a complete and total dump. It is in a good location, which is the only good thing about the hotel This hotel is a dummp, in horrible condition. I was mislead, believing a 3-star, tryp hotel would at least be adequate. Boy, was I wrong! Worth noting: worn and dirty carpets. Dark and depressing rooms, smaller than my first college dorm room. Tv did not work. Badly planned bathroom. Room smelled horrible. The maid sprayed 1/3 can of air freshner to try and get rid of the odor. |

in the centre of Madrid, beside underground station. En-suite bathroom. It's right around the corner from where all the prostitutes are situated, as females, my friend and I found that a bit threatening. |

Location was great and it was good value for money. The hotel didn't have double glazed windows and the noise was so bad I didn't sleep in 2 nights! Bring ear plugs. Just be careful as there are many pickpockets and prostitutes beside the hotel. |

leaving the premises It was the most tired place I have ever stayed, The carpet in the room was awful, the lobby furniture was worn and dirty. I would not stay in a Tryp Hotel again, It was my first experience and will be my last with your hotel chain. |

Everything about the hotel was fine (kind and helpful staff, room was very clean). However, the room was very noisy and the bed was so uncomfortable (old small matrasss) that we hardly slept during our stay. |

the reservation was there, didn't have to wait for the room to be ready, basic ammenities. no A/C, although it was advertised, the room was hot and the bed small, the TV was also small and the hotel needs some basic refurbishement/upgrade. |

On the main street in Madrid, right outside Gran Via Metro station. 2 Euros fare from Airport. Be prepared if you go for a walk after dark. Go out of the hotel turn right past Mc Donalds and you are in the "Red Light District" But hotel its self is fine. No problems with security or anything. |

The location is excellent, Close to all the shops and sightseeing. Staff are very friendly throughout. Booked a double room but given a Twin, also on the front of the hotel so quite noisey from road traffic outside. |

The services are good, the hotel staff very polite, a great breakfast. My room was a little bit noisy although was inside oriented - I think the walls are thin, so I don't recommend the hotel for very easy sleep people. |
