Exactly what we expected from the photo - a charming building with lots of character and history. Reception and management went out of their way to he helpful and informative. Ongoing renovation works to the building opposite detracted from the view/ambience - not the fault of the hotel. |

We stayed at the Zenit Imperial last weekend while visiting our daughter who is on her Erasmus year at Valladolid University. The location was excellent; right in the middle of the old city. |

The hotel was nice, but the facade was under renovation. We were greeted warmly and given lots of information about the town. Be warned that the major sights are being restored and the main museum is closed until the fall. The hotel was in a nice area within walking distance to the sights. |

The staff spoke good english and were very helpful about things around to see. There was a construction going on outside, starting from early hours (mid July 2009). I suppose it will end soon. |

All the staff were very helpful whenever we needed it. Tea / coffee making facilities in the rooms would be a nice touch - not everyone wants a cold drink from the minibar. Also, why can't internet connection be on all the time instead of allocated in small slots. |

Excellent service. Good breakfast, although the coffee could improve a bit. Location outstanding, next to the tapas, a worthy experience. Highly recomendable The internet, although free, requires a validation every hour or 2 and one has to go down to the reception to the get the passowords. This is pretty ridiculous. |

Reception was excellent. Manager took time to describe the attractions of the city and to recommend restaurants. Hotel restaurant was good both for choice and value. Used a lot by locals. Location ideal for shops and restaurants. Service in the bar was slow in the evenings as the staff were busy in the restaurant. Not a big problem. |

Very close to down town and in spite of that quite calm. I think the booking.com site should make clear that there is no option for non-smokers in the hotel. While we filled in the form on the site, we chose the non-smoking option and actually it was not available.All the rooms were smoking. |

Its location is very good to view the town only difficult was a language problem as i don't speak spanish and the reception staff didn't speak much english but it wasn't a major problem, we enjoy our stay and the hotel was fine. Thank you |

The rooms were comfortable, warm and well equipped. The lobby and bar areas are very stylish. We felt that the room rate was quite high, and as the hotel is verycentral there is a lot of noise from pubs, clubs and restauarnet which goes on pretty much alnight. |
