I like location, only 20 min on foot to center or 5 min by metro which was 2 min from the hotel. Very quiet, nice, pleasant hotel and very nice staff. The only thing I did not like was hairdryer. It was quite difficult to use it. |

I travel extensively with my 20 kg dog and they treated him like a prince. No extra fees and a great little dog bed was provided. It is the best treatement we have had from any hotel among the 100+ we've visted in the last 3 years. My pet peeve at a nice hotel is hangers that are attached to the railing. I think I can be trusted not to steal the hotel's hangers. |

Gorgeous boutique hotel. Had fun having some wine at the bar; the bartender let us try a few before deciding on which glasses to have. Little luxury touches throughout. Not a great nightlife in the area. |

We found this hotel to be everything we wanted, e.g. location perfect for visit to beautiful Barcelona, design and decor superb, staff extremely polite and helpful without being invasive, impeccabley clean and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The terrace bar was an extra bonus. Perhaps air conditioning in the room at night time although not a major problem. |

Lovely boutique style hotel - half way between Placa de catalunya and the majic fountains. Very handy for metro - rocafort station just outside. |

We stayed at the hotel Villa Emilia in Barcelona one night in May 2009. Its a modern hotel - nicely decorated and with spacious and clean rooms. The hotel is pretty centric - if you have good shoes its in walking distance to Placa Catalonia. The breakfast consists of bread (also dark) , croissants, ham, cheese, spanish ham, yoghurts, cereals, freshsqueezed juice and coffee. The roofterrace is a nice place, allthough without a pool. Would be nice to cool down in the heat. The hotel has english speaking staff. They are friendly but not as serviceminded as you could wish for in a 4-star hotel. |

The hotel was very classy and the staff were very helpful. The biggest suprise was the restaurant. The food was amazing and the waiters were great. |

The hotels decor was fabulous - Very intimate surroundings, tastefully decorated throughout. The rooms were a decent size & the bathrooms were surprising big & well equipped. There was a lack of good restaurants or bars nearby the hotel - Had to continue into La Rambla to fine restaurants to suit every palate - However, Placa Reial had exceptional restaurants & plenty of bars which is only 15mins walk from the hotel so not all bad. |

The hotel is "fresh" and detail-oriented, nice small things make it pleasant and cozy. The restaurant food was delicious and staff friendly. breakfast "trendy" but could include more fruits and other lighter options as sometimes brie and jamón are not exactly what you look for a morning meal.... |

Very stylish and a quiet location. Not as central as others but excellent value for a good quality boutique hotel. Nice bar with reasonably priced wines and delicious complementary tapas. Helpful staff. The bathroom door was a bit strange - didn't close properly. |

Great staff, room and hotel. I don't know how they manage to provide such a quality product for the price. Don't be put off that the hotel is not in the main tourist areas - metro station is 1 min away and then 5 mins to main square and La Ramblas. Good selection of bars and ok selection of restaurants near hotel, at local not tourist prices. Internet access very bizarre. I could not send any emails from the hotel using my laptop even though it's set up to send from anywhere. 7 percent tax added to bill at end of stay, not included in advertised price. |

Most of the things were so good of this hotel. Ease access and close to the Metro, clean and quiet. The room was not huge but spacious enough. The breakfast was good though some commented that it was a bit expensive. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would say it's value for money comparing with most of the hotels in Europe. The design of the showerroom has structural problem as the water kept "flooding" out without the curtain. And no boiling kettle in the room is also one of the critique. The free internet access is good but unstable, particularly it was jammed at late evening (thought lots of guests using it). |
