It’s a luxury hotel in a very good position for museums ( the three famous museums are literally round the corner). The entrance, hall and the stained glass dome are spectacular and the hotel’s visual signature A very good international breakfast is served under the glass dome. There are beautiful botanical arrangements in the communal parts of the hotel. Good size room, nicely furnished. It’s a 5 stars+L hotel but: basic toiletries which haven’t been replaced when finished, no slippers, no shoes polish set. Very expensive mini bar and outrageously expensive room services |

La ubicacion ya que al ser tan centrico puedes ir a sitios de interes . museos, puerta del sol, palacio de oriente etc- andando. Tiene mucho encanto el desayunar en la rotonda Ya no es lo que era antaño. Al quedarselo una cadena inglesa se ve que no prestan mucha atencion a la vestimenta. se ve gente con pantalon corto y zapatillas deportivas. Me parece "cutre" que en el baño no haya ni gorro de ducha ni zapatillas ni practicamente de nada. |

Aunque muy caro, el desayuno era bueno . una gran ventaja: el horario, desde las 8.00 hasta las 11.00 horas. 1º La limpieza de la habitacion, dejaba que desar, sobre todo la moqueta..2º: No habia zapatillas - necesarias para la moqueta.3º: para 2 personas, solo 2 toallas pequeñas de baño y 2 de mano. 4º: el empalme del agua del bidet perdia y el cuarto de baño se inundaba en cada uso.La camarera no le dio importancia. 5º: en el bar de la habitacion habia 2 vasos, los usamos el 1er dia y no se... |

De locatie is perfect. Dicht bij de drie grote musea, het oude centrum op loopafstand. Geluidsdichte en schone kamer. Vriendelijke personeel, erg service gericht. We konden zonder problemen later uitchecken. Ontbijtbuffet was prima. We zaten in een preferred guest kamer (executive room). Internet en koffie zouden daar gratis moeten zijn. Nu was de koffie inderdaad "gratis" maar je moest wel 4,50 roomservice kosten betalen. Geen probleem natuurlijk, maar ik heb wel een iets andere definitie van gratis. Voor internet moest eerst betaald worden maar dat zou bij het uitchecken verrekend moeten worden. |
