Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The location can't be beat - everything was in walking distance including the train station.

Sadly there was a huge building project outside the hotel and it made arriving and departing awkward. Secondly, every hotel should have tea and coffee making facilities in the room

The nice attention like a bottle of wine, a rose (for New Year) but, you can expect that in a 5-star hotel

We arrived there and were given a room at the 4th floor: but so hot, like a sauna, even with every airco, heating off. We explained the problem at the reception desk. They said they would check it. Obviously, they could not resolve it as seen as when we got back in the room, the window was open. We could not really imagine to sleep with no air, and with the window open, so we asked for another room. We got it on the 3d floor. We finally got to know from a staff member that all rooms on the 4th floor have a (big) heating problem. We thought, it's not because we have a good deal with booking.com that we have to get a very low, crappy comfort room. Good deals, bad rooms ? Nice staff, but definitely not a 5star hotel

Sound proofing between the rooms is poor - it was possible to hear TV's and showers in the adjacent rooms

Very conveniently located a few steps away from Madrid's major museums, the hotel is comfortableand well-designed. The staff is professional and courteous.

The hotel could use some sound proofing for its guest rooms. I was often awakened by telephone conversations originating in the room next to, above, or below mine.

We have stayed at the Villa before and think it is the best of Madrid. We think the staff, facilities, and location are all great.

No airco in room

Room was good and also breakfast was good.

Noise from upper room was not good.

Facilities inadequate for five star rating. Mattresses painfully hard. Shower head not working well and not fixed in the two days we were there. Room was hot at night and the air conditioner was not working( Opening window took care of this)

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, 1e nacht bed leuk opgemaakt met een hart van zuurstokjes, 1e en 3e dag gratis 0,5 l fles prima rode wijn, veel toiletspulletjes in badkamer, incl. badjas en slippers, mooi ingerichte kamer met speels niveauverschil, goede geluidsdichtheid, prima bedden

Alles war in Ordnung - hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
