The room was big, the location is nice and the spa is quite good. The breakfast was also good. All that together with a good price. The dinner buffet didn't offer too many possibilities. |

The peacefulness and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the setting of the hotel was beautiful. Spa pool tiles need to be replaced as they look very dirty. Marble furniture in bedroom needs to be scrubbed. People smoking in the foyer. Also not having the choice of having lunch in hotel. |

I personally, liked everything about the the hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!! i fell in love again with the woman i married 22years ago!!!! and whom i was on the verge of seperating,thanks to your staff, hospitlity,service and your enviiroment.........hope to be back on my 23 years annivesary.bye the way special thanks to theyoung lady receptionist who met us on our arrival, she was lovely with us. |

Excellent service in the restaurant - food was very good - hotel rooms spacious and very comfortable If you are elderly or unfit - it is quite a climb up to the village of Benhavis |

too bad we were only there for 1 night. We liked the whole setting of the hotel, beautiful surroundings. This hotel is missing a warm comfy bar. Its bar is too big it gives the imporession of coldness. Althoug dinner was ok i did expect something more special. I think this hotel is lacking a touch of warmth overall |

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped. The food at both breakfast and dinner was good. Like the majority of 4 and 5 star hotels they do not provide tea and coffeee making facilities in the room. |

we liked the location as it was just a short walk to the lovely restaurants in the village the pool areas were really nice it was a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay and we would definately recommend it to others and will definately be visiting again. |

Tranquil - hotel situated in a great area to enable you to relax and stroll the green areas/parks surrounding the Hotel. Food - excellent restaurants to choose from in town and not to mention the qulity of the food at the Hotel as well. However Spa installations were poor - dirty and cold, it was a pity, no wonder its free with your stay at the Hotel. Hotel needs however a little face lift and tender loving care as it appears to be a little abandoned. |

At wedding looked after extremely well. Left swimsuit in room on checkout. Staff unable to locate it later the same day and have not thus far been in contact by phone or email despite several messages. |

Peaceful and clean. The room we stayed was huge, the furnishers were nice, the bath was extra large. Nice views of Benahavis from our balcony. The romantic offer was good, it included one hour of spa circuit. I highly recommend it, apart from the dinner times issue which could be improved together with the bar and restaurant service and of course to inform hotel staff to be respectful towards their customers. on the romantic package we had it did state a 3 course meal for 2 included in either the a la carte or buffet restaurant,when we went to reserve the a la carte we were told by reception that we could only have buffet which is misleading. Also when we went for dinner at 19:30 hrs,a rude waiter told us that dinner was served at 20:30hrs as it was very common in Spain to dine late. We found this very annoying since it was clearly said at reception that dinner started at 19:30 hrs and that every hotel customer should have the right to dine early or late as they wish, always within the times stated by the hotel. |

The hotel is in a very nice location and the views of the village and the mountains are lovely. The standard rooms are a good size. When we arrived, we were shown to our room. It had not been prepared and the floor was filthy. The net curtain in our room had a large hole in it, as did the bedspread. When we complained to the Manager, he just shrugged his shoulders. The furniture in the room was tired and one of the legs on the chest of drawers was broken. In the bathroom, the bath/shower mixer taps were coming away from the wall. The bath was stained. The towels provided were threadbare. There are two pools each with a smaller child’s pool. Many of the sun loungers were broken and there were too few mattresses for them. The main pool got very crowded. The second pool was less busy, but it was dirty and had not been cleaned. |

This was our third stay at Gran Hotel Benahavis and again we had a fantastic time there, we just love everything about the hotel, the outlook from our room, in this case overlooking the lovely courtyard and the view of the village, the pools and their views and also the excellent selection of restaurants in the village itself, so we can,t speak more highly of our stay and look forward to our next visit. My partner is already considering returning in September for a week this time just with her daughter. |
