personal approach of the staff, nicely decorated rooms, very clean, great double bed (with great pillows which is rare in Spain)extreme proximity to the centre. the room we stayed at (double with shared bathroom) was really tiny so we could hardly do anything rather than sit or lie in bed. but that did not bother us too much since we did not spend a lot of time there. |

Location was ideal, close to the city centre and right next to a Metro station (Noviciado). Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very nice. |

The hotel is well located nearby Gran Via and very close to the metro. There is only about 15min to go to the centre on foot. The room was bright and clean with a window. The street was very noisy for 24h. The room should have been for nonsmoking (as we put while booking) but this one we were offered had a great odour of cigarettes. Fortunately on our claim we changed the room very quickly. |

close to city center - 5min walk, metro 25m away, nice clean rooms, nice staff, breakfast for 1,99€ very cheap and good a little bit noisy, when you got a room on the street side, but we could change it |

Easy to reach from airport by metro, very central location,nice area, breakfast not included, but multitude of superb breakfast options within 3 min walk. Very friendly staff. Although quite small, the rooms are really nicely designed and decorated. There are only a few rooms, so it is very cozy. Keep in mind that you need to bring your own amenities (shampoo, etc). If you are a tall person: the beds are quite short and not very wide.The walls are not very thick, the door to the corridor does not keep out a lot of noise out, but since the hotel does not have many rooms, this is not a big issue. |

Staff at hotel was really kind, the hotel area is central and full of stores and restaurants, coloured rooms and confortable place. The street where the hotel is situated is a bit noisy and sometime at night could be a little too loud. Bathroom was a bit too small, but in the end was ok. |

Very clean and fresh. Small but comfortable rooms. Helpful, English speaking staff Walls were very thin, so you heard all that was going on next door. No kitchen to prepare own food . |

Good location in interesting part of Madrid. Staff were helpful. Room was warm, in the middle of winter. Room smelt of cigarette smoke - but then smokers rule in Spain. Bathroom was very small - if you have a large frame, it could be challenging. |

The location is fantastic, we never had to use public transport because all the attractions were within reach by foot. The staff speak English, are polite, helpful and ver accomodating. Having wireless internet connection is fantastic. The soundproofing is virtually non-existent. The hostel is basically a converted very large apartment, and as a result you can hear everything happening in the corridor, some of the other rooms and the apartment above, which means your sleep hours depend on when the others go to sleep. |
