ダブルルームの予約でしたが、予約時にハネムーンでの利用を伝えたところ、当日、チェックインすると部屋を- ワンランクアップしてくれた上、観光から戻ってみるとベッドの上にチョコレートのプレゼントが。たまたま部- 屋に空きがあったからとは思いますが、うれしい出来事でした。立地については地下鉄のカリャオ駅、ソル駅に- 近く、ショッピング、観光ともに便利。宿泊した夜、歩いて５，６分の場所にあるタブラオ「トーレス・ベルメ- ハス」を予約してもらい、フラメンゴを見ることもできました。 |

double roomで予約しましたが、女2人の旅だったのでtwinの部屋に変えて欲しいと言ったところ、すぐロフト- 付きの部屋に変えてくれました。部屋は広く、天井が高く、トイレがロフトにもありとても快適でした。窓を開- けると、小さなバルコニーが広場に面しており、修道院の鐘が鳴るなど雰囲気は満点です。freeの朝食もお- いしく、満足しました。スタッフの数が少なく見えますが、24時間サービスしてくれるので、日本からの遅い- 時刻のチェックインも問題ありませんでした。立地も良く、いろいろな観光地が徒歩圏内で、デパートも近くに- あり、地下鉄のオペラ駅、ソロ駅、カリャオ駅がすぐ近くなので、大変便利です。フラメンコを見るところ、お- いしいタパスの店など、スタッフに訊けば快くすぐ教えてくれます。とにかくスタッフはみんな親切で、朗らか- で、もう一度泊まりたい、と言う気持ちに必ずなると思います。 広場に面していて、近くのホテルが朝3時頃までテラスを開いているので、窓を開けると、飲んでいる人たちの- ざわめきや、土曜日は朝6時頃まで酩酊して歩いていると思われる人達の声が響き渡り気になりましたが、窓を- 閉めれば気にならないと思います。ルームサービスはありません。 |

Brilliant location, excellent breakfast included in price of room and the room was comfortable. Booked this particular hotel as it was advertised as an apartment, however kitchen was locked for duration of stay despite requesting for it to be unlocked - so no access to fridge or tea making facilities. Also 'living area' consisted of a couple of high stools and a breakfast bar. The only mirror in the room was in the bathroom. |

Location was great, breakfast excellent good big bed and staff very friendly and helpful. Not enough light to read by in sitting area of room which in duplex we were in felt a bit like a corridor - not sufficient extra room generated by mezzanine bed to compensate for steep climb up to bed. |

The hotel is very centrally located; walking-distance (5minutes) to the center. Spacious room. For a design hotel (with spacious rooms) the bath is too small and not comfortable at all. |

We liked the room very much; it's big, with big bathroom, two tables - one for computer and the other for dining; good design, good bed: comfortable, spaceous and soft with a lot of pillows. Good AC, very good internet connection. Breakfast was also very good. We liked hotel staff a lot: very helpfull with good english. The best hotel we stayed in Spain. May be tea/coffee making facilities would add comfortable feeling. |

We stayed 3 nights and loved it: the location, the design,the friendly and helpful staf. We were upgraded to a duplex room which gave us more space, although the regular room looks very nice too. The small kitchen was a bonus. The stairs: the duplex room is divided into two floors with steep and narrow stairs to the bedroom level. And for those who don't like stairs - there are some as you enter from the street, which are not mentioned in the hotel description (once you get to the reception, there is an elevator). |

Great location and gave us a free upgraded room, maybe because we prepaid several months ago. The staff was very helpful and made reservations for us. The hotel is excellent, except had trouble getting much hot water. It took 10 minutes of running the water in the shower for it to get hot and then only if it was pointed all the way to hot, which gave just a very small spray of water. This may have been just a temproary problem, but it was the same all 3 days. |

I've stayed at three hotels in Madrid over the past ten years and Room Mate Laura was by far the best. The staff was fabulous-helping us find restaurants, calling cabs for the trip to the airport, and in every other way. We were upgraded to the penthouse floor and all three of our rooms (for a total of 6 people) were suites with full kitchenettes featuring granite countertops. The design is very contemporary and fun. Showers are small by American standards, but we liked them. Breakfast was included and was excellent, especially the mini-croissants and ultra mini-chocolate croissants. The hotel is very conveniently located near the opera, royal palace, Plaza del Sol, and ten minutes from Plaza Santa Ana. We will definitely return. |

This hotel is in an excellent location: quiet, yet very close to food and shopping, and a good gateway to all attractions. I like the design, and found it comfortable, and very friendly. We could go out late for dinner, just shop, or have a nap. Also, we could by water and groceries nearby at cote d'ingles. A great gem in the centre of the city. I liked everything. I would have the bar fridge had more room to store some of our own little food pleasures. |

Friendly and helpful staff, novel and attractive design, spacious rooms with air-conditioning, central situation, ample breakfast with good choice of dishes. Only one minor criticism, the lights in the rooms were not conveniently situated, so that, for example, the light was behind anyone looking in the bathroom mirror and some way from anyone trying to sit on the sofa and read. |
