Originally located in Galdakao until the end of 1969, then in 2005 the building was moved to its present location when the new motorway Bilbao-Behobia was laid out, in an impressive and arduous effort of cataloguing and preserving all its artistic elements.
The hotel offers a perfect balance between a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the comfort of state-of-the-art facilities.
A comfortable guest lounge with a fireplace and meeting and event rooms with natural light and direct access to the terrace complement the facilities.
Enjoy the traditional Basque cuisine including a modern cuisine and a select national and international wine list. The dinning hall has capacity up to 30 people, ideal for social events or banquets. In addition, the restaurant offers 2 spacious terraces, ideal for cocktail parties or pre-dinner drinks.
Our cafe has 2 different ambiances, an indoor and elegant area and an outdoor, relaxing space. Both are ideal for tea and coffee parties at any time of the day.
In the morning, enjoy an assorted breakfast including fresh daily products, either indoor or outdoor.

Lunch: Daily all week, from 13:00 to 15:30
Dinner: Monday to Friday, from 20:00 to 22:30
Weekends and public holidays from 20:00 to 23:00

The most fantastic hotel within a few miles of an airport I've ever stayed in. Elegant hillside palace with amazing views only 10 minutes drive from Bilbao airport. Elegant, refined, superb service and exquisite food. We stayed as a pit stop due to a late flight but will gladly go back for a few days relaxation. Great value for money. 10 out of 10. Nothing, it was fantastic. |

eat and sleep I arrive in a rental car on a rainy day. From the parking place for guests to the hotel is a long and uphill walk. I enquiered about the empty parking spaces closer to the entrance and was told they are reserved for employees only!. It should be the other way around. |

Very pleased with the hotel; stayed in a family room which was massive and had a spa bath which was wonderful. Spacious, clean, lovely touches in the bathroom - toiletries, big fluffy towels, robes. Hotel was easy to find and the food in the bar in the evening was excellent and reasonably priced. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. |

Very grand family room with loads of space for all 5 of us (1 in a cot) - very nicely decorated and lovely big bathroom. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were very nice. A good place for a one night stop before getting on the Bibao - Portsmouth ferry. Staff very friendly and helpful and all spoke good english. Quite tricky to find - they need better directions on their website. Indoor pool was freezing!!! |

The Family Room at Palacio was very spacious and very comfortable. Although set in the countryside the hotel is only 10 mins from the airport and same from Bilbao. Wi Fi was available and free. Breakfast although very nice was a little limited in choice. |

Excellent stop over on the way to Bilbao ferry - only 20 mins drive. The room was fabulous, real luxury! Fabulous balcony with view over local countryside. Restaurant was not open on the night we stayed, (wednesday) and all that was available was a selection of bar snacks. We were not aware of anywhere else locally to eat. (Perhaps the consierge could advise, if we had asked) Breakfast was very good. |

Está en un sitio muy tranquilo a unos 10 min del centro de Bilbao. La habitación era grande y muy silenciosa. Cama gigante y muy cómoda. Baño grande. Dispone de piscina interior y campo de golf propio. Además el palacio es precioso. Puedes desayunar en la cafetería sin necesidad de pagar el buffet, lo cual se agradece al estar aislado de la ciudad. |

Le confort des chambres, la situation de l'hôtel. Le 1er soir, inondation dans la chambre mais on nous en a proposé une autre plus grande; le second soir, la clef électronique était défaillante. Etonnant que pour un hôtel de cette catégorie il n'y ait personne pour sortir les bagages de la voiture et les monter à la chambre. |
