Hotel very clean though basic The photograph on the website of the reception area of the hotel is nothing like the actual reception area which is very basic. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, coffee out of a machine, poor selection of breads etc, not even any water for those who do not want coffee or luke warm tea. |

good location rooms are very outdated. The first room we were given was like a cupboard - the second smelt of smoke (there were no others available). No fridge/minibar. |

The Peninsular's location is superb!! Just two blocks away from dining, shopping and sites. And the staff is incredible -- friendly and helpful. The room is a bit small, but comfortable and had everything we could possible need. Will definitely stay at The Peninsular again! |

location is only 5 or 10 minutes walk from train station and near the river. they had free computer/internet. there was some street noise but late at night it died down. |

Very good location near old city, and only minutes from train/bus stations. Room spacious enough for a standard room. Reasonable value for city hotel. No power points in room for phone/camera chargers unless unplug the TV, although there is a point in the bathroom. |

Location - but recommended day/night parking was very expensive (E38 for one afternoon and night) It went very cold in Girona and the room heating was very slow to compensate |

i think the hotel is perfectly situated for shopping and sightseeing in girona. I think the selection of breakfast could have had more choice and variety , the english do like a fry up for breakfast. |
