Very convenient for a short time between the flights. Taxi to/from airport very cheap. The lady at reception spoke some English and was indeed very helpful. There are good and cheap places to eat around the hotel.
when i booked said ”pay now” but end up still pay at property... price was different when I booked for these 2 options...make it hard for my family...cuz they fly to Shanghai don't have very convenient way to pay ... That's why I choosed to pay beforehand for them...I'm not with them.... messaged property about this ...no one replied and didn't take my concern into account at all... Room is good overall ...but according to my family ...shower has no curtains ....after shower...water went all over the floor...
There is nothing i like abt the hotel... I booked this hotel because it is an accor hotel.. This hotel needs heavy refurbishment.
Very good option for budget but comfy stay in Shanghai. Classic dorm rooms with big lockers for personal use. Clean and big bathrooms. Quiet at nights. Great, central location, right next to Nanjing Road.
I seldom write anything but this hotel is a real gem .. cheap .. clean .. excellent breakfast.. I could go on and on
It was cheap for the location
Location. The Bund is located at a short walk from hotel. Good restaurants offer around. It's very easy to get from Pudong Airport to the hotel by subway, simply take line 2 and get off at East Nijing Road Station (exit 6). We took the subway which is very cheap (7 Yuan per trip) carrying big bags and had no problem at all.
Only a few miles away from the airport. The hotel also offers airport shuttle bus (that is a shared service with the nearby Ramada Inn). From what I observed, this hotel is quite new. The format and decor is geared towards modern, minimalist, and no-frills market level, it is very similar to the European chain called Ibis. It meets basic travelers’ needs: convenient location, shuttle bus to the airport, very hearty breakfast, clean and comfortable room, coin laundry room with a very reasonable rate. What else you can ask for?
Price is good and cheap. Surrounding environment is good, a basketball court, lots of shops, restaurants, metro, etc. Breakfast included, 1 egg, 1 glass of milk and 2 Chinese bao dumplings.
- amazing location with only 10 minutes walking distance to the famous "Bar Rouge" (now called: KEV) - clean and spacious rooms, good views given the rather cheap price for the hotel - lively neighborhood with many useful shops (printing shop, telecom shop, etc.) closeby - watch out the taxi driver does not accidentially bring you to the GRAND Central Hotel Shanghai, many taxi drivers mix these two hotels up, but they are right next to each other so no problem
