A fabulous hotel with attentive staff from the minute you walk in. Modern facilities with accessible Laundry and gym. Buffet breakfast and a modest afternoon tea available as part of the room rate. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Every staff member was lovely, including housekeeping, who were so accomodating and eager to interact and ensure we had a pleasurable experience.

To be honest, I have never had a hostel exceed my expectations as much as Hantang Inn. First of all, the staff is beyond awesome. There were very attentive to me. The room is comfortable and the amenities kit is fantastic, better than many hotels I’ve been stayed. Their communal area are perfect to relax after a busy day. The breakfast is fantastic, freshly prepared every day. If all hostels were like Hantang Inn my trip would be perfect.

excellent location, and exceptionally helpful staff, especially Winnie at the front desk who went out of her way to help with translating, ordering taxis and trips, and even checking I hadnt got lost at times! Also many food options are very close, and it is very handy for the Muslim street food area

The room was extremely clean and comfortable and the staff were excellent. Shout out Rachel and Jason! The free breakfast is really good and there are snacks available all day plus free coffee in the day and drinks in the evening. My boyfriend and I think Hantang Inn is the best hotel we've ever stayed in! 😊

Huge non-smoking rooms (1205, 1207, 1209), very clean, great ambience, excellent service from both reception & restaurant. Manageress & chef of restaurant were exceptionally helpful & courteous…breakfast & free afternoon tea were excellent but most impressive was dinner at the restaurant. Must eat there! We ate our dinners there the 4 nights we stayed Great location! Hotel is great value!

First of all, we chose the hotel because of its award-winning architecture and interior design. This did not disappoint! The hotel blends well with its surroundings in the Dayanta area, and the courtyards were very aesthetically pleasing The location was excellent, but it was 20 minutes walking from the nearest MRT. The bed was among the most comfortable we have ever slept in. There is an indoor art museum which you get free entrance for as a hotel guest. It is quite small, but worth a visit

We had an amazing time and Michael was very helpful. He helped us to book a chartered bus and tickets to the Terracota Army. He also organised our Christmas Eve dinner. The location is very central and the hotel is cute and comfortable. The hotel has a roof top where you can enjoy a drink overseeing the city wall.

Beside the fantastic location just near the Bell Tower, this well decorated hostel made me feel at home from the very beginning. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the bathrooms are well equipped and super clean, and the living room is very cosy. The price is also very reasonable and you get free breakfast, free drinks and free fruits and snacks throughout the day. The staff is also lovely, Rachel remembered my name from the first day and took care of me when I got a cold. Fellow travellers also super friendly. This place is just perfect.

Central location to main tourist sites (Bell and Drum Towers; South Gate of Xi’an City Wall, Muslim Quarter); courteous staff and helpful staff; Winnie helped get me in touch with a travel agent for a trip to see Bingmayong (Terra-cotta warriors)
