Wonderful hotel. Chinley is a charming little town with lots of hikes nearby. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from the train station whcih is easily accessible from manchester. I can't emphasize how nice the staff is-- it was raining heavily and when we asked if they could please call us a cab to take us to the station, they kindly offered to drive us there. Food is great, sights are beautiful, great place to relax and reset.

This location is a local pub in a tiny village. It is about 20 minutes from Bakewell and those 20 minutes are spent driving down country lanes...which I found to be a absolutely glorious. The space was clean and well maintained. The pub was charming. Everyone who worked there was lovely. Highly recommended this place.

The staff are fantastic and really couldn’t do enough to look after us. We enjoyed a home cooked meal in the evening and had breakfast included…both were great. This is a lovely rustic, super friendly place which, with its location, is obviously very popular with hikers and walkers.

The room was very clean, had a lovely view and the beds were very comfortable! Easy parking, big room even with two adults & two children in, nice food, v clean, beautiful garden to have dinner in. Easy with children, no stress at all. Just a gorgeous and much needed break.
