The staff were very helpful. The room (and Inn) are very basic and pretty tired. It's like doing a bit of time travel, as it's been a while since I've had a "woodchip wallpaper/magnolia" experience! The important basics were fine: comfortable clean bed and the dated Ensuite was mostly functional. It may have been that we were on the top floor, but the room was quiet and we slept well (Fri/Sat nights). The room served it's purpose!

Plenty of parking at least for 1 car . Didn’t know what to expect but the property exceeded my expectations I would certainly stay here again . You are staying in your own apartment couldn’t fault it in any way . Not too far to walk to town for dinner , found a Wetherspoon pub , food may not be always perfect but it’s cheap and you know what you get so overall great value

The Castle Inn is in a beautiful location. The owners of the Castle Inn are the nicest hosts I have met and offer a really warm welcome. The food was excellent and the breakfast was freshly cooked to order in the morning.

Steve and Karen were great hosts and the breakfast was a great start to the day!! Lots of choice and a full English that sets you up for a day (or for us 3 days) of walking or cycling!! I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at the Castle Inn and it is excellent value for money ... and customer service!!

The castle inn owners were so welcoming and lovely, allowing us to check in early and being super accommodating for our dog. They cooked an amazing breakfast and took the time to get to know us and recommended some fantastic places to visit nearby.
