It was picture perfect. The people were all so nice, the food amazing and the view a treasure. The little village was far enough away from the tourist commotion, but with easy access to all that we wanted to see.

Thank you for the welcome gifts too, nice touch! The apartments are metres away from the nearby shops and pubs but there was never an issue with noise/traffic; I’d highly recommend booking a table at Bewicks Bistro for dinner, the food and service was excellent.

Breakfast choice limited and took a while to be served but adequate and tasty. Only two members of staff that we saw. The room was much bigger than expected, comfortable bed and large leather sofa. The wine (merlot) though, not good. The pub very crowded and busy but huge outside garden area. Parking not a problem. all the staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The lady (Gina) was the only person serving behind the bar even when the pub was crowded. It was amazing the speed at which she worked and not at all flustered; quite amazing.
